      4. So I decided to check out reviews of the hotel – here’s one:

        “Charged $100/night for incidentals at check-in–I was here for a work conference, not spring break. This nearly doubled my bill until checkout, and I still have to wait for the funds to be returned.
        Pool closed despite 90-degree heat because “it’s past Labor Day.”
        Minibar fridge had no key, and plans to renovate will eliminate fridge entirely from rooms. Would have been more convenient to be able to store medication, used a small cooler instead.
        Shower was interesting (conch-shaped) but water pooled and did not drain entirely because the drain position and floor shape.
        Lighting was a bit dark, worked out better to open windows during the day, but at night was hard to read.
        Fitness center is all right, a few treadmills and some free weights. Decided to walk around DC instead for the open air and scenery.”
