  1. And I’m sure that one of the owners of the Atlantic is a mega donor to the Biden campaign has nothing to do with it.

    1. Those ambassadorships don’t fund themselves, do they? This is a straight business deal. Mrs. Inherited wealth bought something she might not get. Gotta change that pronto.

  2. You have to understand the dynamic here. In the past every foreign policy agreement basically hinged on the threat of the US military action. The current president is using a totally different approach that influences foreign policy AND benefits the economies of the US and whomever the diplomatic target happens to be. Essentially, the economic relationships are the battlefield. Trade agreements are being used to build allies and pressure the next targets. Then the process begins anew.

What is the result of this? Well, all of the sudden, the US Military apparatus takes a seat of lesser importance. That’s why General Kelly decided to quit go with a “tell all book.” That’s why you keep seeing “whistleblowers” pop up from the pentagon or diplomatic envoys. The military is less important now, and they don’t like it for a number of reasons.

If you think about this strategy by the Trump administration in earnest and honestly, it makes sense. Because, countries are going to be much less prone to violence against another if there are much more significant financial ramifications. It’s a bit of a buffer that has been missing from foreign policy. It opens up the doors to putting down insurrection before it can grab a foothold….and it highlights those entities that approach violence illogically.

    1. Those lucrative post service consulting contracts are getting a lot less lucrative aren’t they?

  3. The Ukraine whistleblowers were military and likely didn’t actually exist as an individual. The phantom overhead telephone call was actually a tape of an illegal phone tap and someone, or several people, committed perjury in the impeachment boondoggle. The US has thrived on war and Trump, by removing war from the tool kit, threatens the power of the generals. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see an active coup attempt because of repeated failures of more passive coups.

  4. If I hated the USA and I could vote, Creepy Joe is my man.
Since I’m Canadian but now hate Canada with a passion, well, Blackie is my boy

  5. Obama and and his Shadow Government are relentless and sleepless. They are directing traffic at every riot, a very organized and controlled military operation.

The CIA are the ones most hurt by Trump pulling troops and closing bases as the bases are the transportation hubs for the drug and weapons and assets being able to be moved with impunity and no oversite by the nations those bases are located in.

To throw accusations at Trump, calling him hostile to the Armed Forces, isn’t about patriotism or his love for them, but about keeping the network open and running for the Black Hats to do their nasty business.

The Deep State can see that if their network is shuttered or reduced, they are closer to being exposed. The cockroaches hate the light and it is getting brighter each and every day of Trump’s presidency.

    1. Yep, agreed.
To my way of thinking there is a world of difference between a “shadow government” and a “deep state.”
This is a top down, politically appointed, circularly affirmed and fully corrupt shadow. U.S. deep staters are being systematically expunged from service.
It’s been going on since GHW Bush.

    1. Was passing a Global News truck the other day.
All of a sudden I laid on the horn and flipped a bird.
      Wife was aghast.
It’s been decades, but it felt right.

Eight months to retirement and possibly more substantive actions.
Written behavioral contracts are a bitch for rebels.

    2. David Atkin does not have to work as a journalist. His paycheck comes from the PMO. Might explain why he is not a very good journalist.

  6. It’s fun watching the left scramble to maintain the establishment status quo that they railed against for the last 50 years. That alone should tell you the significance of what is being taken from us by them (in liberty and economically)

  7. Absolutely … they want their POWER over us plebes and they want the DEEP DEEP pockets of the Federal Tax Receipts back in their control.

    Defund Public Broadcasting.

  8. As soon as you say anonymous then you can be 90% sure that its a fake and with the vast majority of the media leaning so far left that they can barely stand up straight, another reason to question the supposed story. The left are like an endless line-up of little children swearing that the sky is falling once the first one has been proven wrong you know the rest are wrong.

  9. I also wonder if the DOW going above 29000 for the 1st time since February influenced the timing of this as well

  10. Coordinated hit piece. Soon after the article I started receiving HufPo and move in.org articles about the same thing. Then from Dem emails.

    Must just be coincidence…..

    1. I got it as a recommendation from YouTube. CBC The National obediently re-reporting it.

Ownership of The Atlantic was interesting, had meant to look into it. I read it a bit years ago, wasn’t toooo bad, better than most, but seemed to be going downhill. Then they went off a cliff, full Hillary support, followed by full TDS. After a year or so of Trump they seemed to level out, accepted reality, moved on a bit and had some pretty good articles. But then they went crazy again. Not coincidentally at the same time as Jobs showed up

  11. It is quite plausible that the Great Orange Blithering Idiot did in fact used the terms ‘sucker’ and ‘losers’ to describe the military dead and those who volunteered. Just remember what he said about John McCain. But I don’t expect any of you knuckleheads to understand that.
