Despite its election promises, the Fidesz-led government never reorganized the education system, so now higher education just as full of Marxists as in any Western country. Conservative students report that their teachers spend their teaching hours bashing Orbán and “his fascist regime”. Nobody gets punished for this, despite the fact that we have a law forbidding educators from expressing political opinions in their workplace. The teachers remain in place, and the government just stands there doing nothing to resolve the problem.
Hungarian cultural institutions — theater, film and media — heavily rely on government support, and despite the huge amount of money that lands in their accounts, more than 80% are heavily left-leaning Orbán haters. Right-wing authors and actors are shunned, ostracized. Left-wing neo-Marxists call Orbán a scumbag, while receiving awards afterwards awards from the government. Most Fidesz supporters, myself included, just look at all of this blankly; we do not understand… We gave this government a two-thirds super majority to take care of the parasitic remnants of the last thirty years, within the rule of law, of course. But instead we see the opposite: the government happily supports forces bent on overturning the present system and handing over full power to the Globalists. What is causing this? Why this is happening?
In short, the same thing that happens to other conservative governments.

There’s only one solution to too much government. The solution is LESS GOVERNMENT. There’s only one way to get less government. Tax Cuts.
And I’m not talking about “Laffer Curve” model cuts here to spur the economy. I’m talking about the government receiving less overall money. A lot less. Like 10% drop in revenue, every year, for 20 years at least. Closing entire ministries. Abandoning entire categories of regulation. Laying off -thousands- of mid-level bureaucrats. That’s what it takes to get the Communists and other busybodies out of power. Starve them out.
So if your “Conservative” party isn’t deeply involved with cutting taxes, it isn’t going to change a damn thing. It’ll be one more rearrangement of the deck chairs, and the ship will continue steaming full power for the iceberg.

If you are a teacher, and you criticize in the classroom the president of the country, without negative consequences, then by definition he is NOT a “fascist.” In fact, he is bending over backwards to let people like you get away with it.
I am disheartened. If Orban with a super majority in the legislature cannot drain the swamp, is there hope? Time to stop bending over backwards and enforce the laws that are already on the books. For decades they just sat there, and let the left take control of key agencies, including the IRS, and especially the schools. I was shocked at the FBI and CIA, which should be bastions of conservatives. Now Trump must battle them all. The Kemalists in Turkey found out, fanaticism is forever busy, and after more than half a century of trying the Islamists finally figure out to start placing their people in key parts of the government, and, lo and behold, the last coup was finally successful.

It’s quite simple. Victory goes to the side that has the balls to take action. And to date, that has been the left.
Conservatives are elected mostly to do less harm than progressives (socialists and fascists combined). Conservatism is a coalition ranging from nose-holding libertarians, social conservatives, fiscal conservatives, mushy mindless compromise in all things centrists, and a lot of power hungry “pragmatists” (populists) who worry only about winning elections even if the means implicitly maintain the status quo, resulting in seat warmers for the next wave of progressives. Only the first three of those groups are interested in re-legitimizing what it is that government should be involved in and agreement among them is fleeting at best.
Given that politics follows culture, until a culture of liberty dominates the same way that progressive culture dominates now, those groups that want to shrink government back to minimal involvement will exist as the minority rump of politics.
Canadian provincial government education systems are ruled by a Cult. Marxist ideology, whereby a activist minority has seized power and isolated itself politically from the parents who should be holding them responsible: for what they fail to teach, when social promotion replaced having to redo a grade you failed to master the fundamentals of. The School Board bureaucrats and principals, who abandoned the concept of a Duty of Care/Standard of Care, failed to do their job. The parents should have demanded they be replaced and saw that happened. The ideals/values that built Canada/West. Civil. are no longer taught.
So the quality of life is trending towards a 3rd world standard in growing ghettos, where criminal subcultures thrive being subsidized by gov. programs. It is no co-incidence that throughout Western nations, that the high crime areas are also government housing projects and/or areas largely providing a base income, subsidized by crime. This subsidy is proving to be potent poison.
Meanwhile, the standard and range of government services depends on productivity, produced by a manager/worker teams driven by the values of competency and conscientiousness. The two principles replaced identity politics/tribalism gradually via the universality of Judeo/Christian values. The result has been peace and prosperity.

Revolution is a young man’s game. We have no leaders, we are incapable of more than letting off steam on the internet. It’s over.
