  1. Great column from a couple of days ago by the National Post’s Kelly McParland.
    Excerpt:

Mr. Trudeau thinks Canada should avoid a combat mission, except maybe it should send jet fighters, except maybe it should think about it first. Mr. Mulcair agrees Canada should be doing something about ISIS, but we shouldn’t race “headlong” into a military mission. He wants to know the details of the Prime Minister’s thinking, so he can attack the decision before it’s made. He also wants to know why Mr. Harper is taking his time, why he’s being so careful about the options. He wants Ottawa to make a quick decision, but slow down about deciding. And he wants it done in public, so all the secrecy will end. The secrecy that we’ve all been reading about. Every day. All over the place.

    The whole thing here.

  2. it’s the “secret agenda”, just announced the the House of Parliaament, recirded in Hansard, the “official record,
too bad J.T. didn’t “whip out” his CF-18 quip in Question Period for the official record.

  3. This is highlighting just how unfit to lead or govern Trudeau is. He has no capability himself and those in the back rooms feeding him information and telling him what to say are on the same level. That’s not what smart people vote into power.
It’s going to take more than a year to deal with this latest flare-up of Islamic monsters, we would be in danger if we were to have this poseur fronting for someone like Gerald Butts and a few other unnamed, inexperienced in government advisors like Andrew Leslie who has already made controversial remarks. Then we have the domestic front and the economy with have-not provinces refusing to develop their resources, GREEN crazed Ontario stuck on stupid who can’t share the load which will eventually affect our economy. Do we want to turn this country over to Justin Trudeau’s so-called “brain trust” when it’s obvious he himself is incapable of governing, he just hasn’t got it and isn’t getting it. His CF-18 phallic”joke” is not for prime time, proving again he is not FIT for prime time even though Don Newman found it hilarious, governing is not an obscene joke. If Trudeau is elected he will not be able to govern,he’s a puppet, a tool for the crazy for power Liberals, spurred on by their minions in the media.

  4. Those in the back room are salivating at choice appointments dear leader will make when he gets elected. Remember, Dippers want more government, Tories want less government and Liberals just want government.

  5. “Japan’s Tragic Wake-Up Call”
“With the discovery of a 47th body on the slopes of Mt. Ontake yesterday, the volcano’s eruption is now Japan’s deadliest in 88 years. It’s impossible not to worry about an even bigger volcanic threat that lies just 90 miles from Tokyo: Mt. Fuji.”

  6. “Work? Why bother?” Ezra hits another one out of the park.
“But how can there be a shortage of workers in Alberta and Saskatchewan, so bad that we need to hire thousands of foreigners, when we still have double-digit unemployment in Atlantic Canada?
It’s 13.5% in Newfoundland, 10% in Prince Edward Island. Almost as high in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
One reason is that Alberta, Saskatchewan and the other have-provinces pay the unemployed provinces not to work.”

  7. From NewWatchCanada:
“Ottawa: RCAF Commander Lt-Gen Yvan Blondin rejects Justin Trudeau’s loose-lipped comments about CF-18 fleet: “Our RCAF personnel and aircraft have proven they can fight alongside our Allies — they are battle hardened, and the capabilities of our CF-18s today certainly enable them to effectively serve alongside the fighter aircraft being flown by Allies” against ISIS”
“…I wish to dispel any questions pertaining to the relevance of the CF-18. I am completely confident in the ability of the aircraft and personnel to extend Canadian air power anywhere in the world, such as in support of the current air operations underway in Iraq.”

Justin is just jealous because he has nothing big to whip out.

  8. I am sure Toronto’s Nuit Blanche was spectacular. There are some amazing photographs on the web. Just wondering if the artist community ever thought of moving the date to coincide with Earth Day?

  9. I don’t consume General Mills products, haven’t for years. Their marketing policies don’t concern me, nor does their crappy junk food, and neither have any effect on my life.
