    Recently I went to Canadian Tire for diluted Round Up. Always under lock and key. On the shelf were 3 products, one called ‘Total Weed Out'(?). Anyhoo, they weren’t locked up. So I read for the active ingredient (as reguired by law) and found that for $35 you could buy 5 (L) of 7% acetic acid to kill your greenery. $24 for 3(L).
    Yup, 35 bones to buy a gallon of vinegar to put on your soil. Don’t you feel the eco-love?

    Apparently some PC volunteers sent out 64 letters to THEIR friends and supporters, and they had the wrong location for voting. One of these 64 letters fell into the hands of a Liberal supporter … I don’t want to give any more away.
    Initial audience response at its premier on the CBC site is as expected. Pitchforks and torches will be made available for the duration of its run.
    Rumours from high-placed anonymous insider sources are hinting that Bob Rae will be hired to promote this latest horror flick.

    My dislike of the CBC began in July of 2009 when PM Harper attended the Catholic State Funeral of the Hon. Romeo Leblanc in Memramcook, N.B., a former GG.
    The CBC blasted our PM for having accepted communion at the funeral. PM Harper is Evangelical. They (CBC.Ca) published and broadcast confusing reports, one that said the Pm had placed the host (either) inside his pocket or his funeral agenda, while another report said he had eaten it.
    I phoned a close friend of mine who was a secretary for a prominent Liberal MP in Ottawa at the time. He told me that the CBC knew all along that the protocol officer for the PMO had told the PM, prior to the ceremony, that everyone was welcomed to communion. Mgr. André Richard, who had administered communion to the PM, later said that Mr. Harper should not have taken the host, however he (Archbishop) was convinced that no disrespect was meant.
    The CBC reports were clearly aimed at hurting the PM and the Conservatives.
    And let me tell you this ref jeff. My battle will not be over until the last CBC signal is turned ”OFF.”

    I live in Cantor’s district, which is probably the most conservative in Virginia, so much so that the Dems don’t run serious candidates, if any. If he’d given a nod to Ted Cruz now and then, showed up at a Tea Party event, spoke plainly about Captain Benghazi’s fecklessness on Fox a few times, the seat was his for life.
    When he became Majority Leader, the headers on his newsletter and schedules, which as a constituent I subscribed to, went from “Congressman Eric Cantor” to “The Leader”, and he came out swinging with a published meme of “Young Guns” taking charge. That was all hat and no cattle.
    One would think as “The Leader”, he’d take the fight to the opposition, present his case to the people, appear on Fox at every opportunity (Harry Reid certainly does), and maybe comment on one or two of the conservative talk shows to present his take on issues.
    Instead, he mostly stayed in DC, refused invitations from talk show hosts, worked back room deals and never answered questions from constituents simply and directly, but redirected or equivocated. It seemed to me most of what he said would numb a guy on meth, rather than inspire followers.
    My sense of the man was that he was always straddling the fence with his finger in the air, looking around to be sure he didn’t step in a pasture paddy whichever side he came down on.
    He had it made and blew it, caring more about his DC social circles and power brokers than us, and we could feel it, so we dumped the pasture paddies on his head today.”
