  1. That’s a good one ….. Sheena Easton’s Morning Train could give it a run for ear worm supremacy.
Or the theme from The Andy Griffith Show……

  2. Hate to admit it but I liked the Proclaimers. Bought the whole disk only to find that was the only song I liked. Still a lot better than some of the crap music out today. Ahhh…..that damned generational gap.

  3. I love the Proclaimers! I used to listen to one of their CDs, over and over; there was only one song that didn’t appeal to me. Thanks, EBD.

  4. For those of you who may not be aware, Bill C-297, is scheduled for its 3rd reading in the house of commons soon (late February or early March).

Randall Garrison, NDP, is the sponsor of this bill.

To garner additional support from conservatives (15 have voted in favour). Garrison amended the definition of ‘Gender Identity’ thus: “means, in respect of an individual, the individual’s deeply felt internal and individual experience of gender, which may or may not correspond with the sex that the individual was assigned at birth.” Garrison has not provided a definition for ‘Gender Expression’ which will also be included in the Criminal Code and Human Rights Act with all the protections afforded to groups in these acts; including, public accommodation-meaning all washrooms, locker rooms, change rooms, saunas, steam rooms, and showers etc.

I don’t think it too much to ask anyone; regardless of their attire, hairstyle or facial make-up, to use public accommodations that aligns with their assigned at birth sex to ensure safety and protection for all.

If this scenario, or an incident such as this happens even once in Canada, it is one time too many.

Here are the email addresses of the conservatives who voted in favour of Bill C-279 just in case anyone wants to email them with their thoughts regarding this Bill and their vote.

    Similiar post at BCF.

  5. Re The Proclaimers: They are twins: Charlie and Craig Reid. Their harmonies are close.
What is it about this song that’s so appealing? I guess the thumping beat and repetition! And the Scottish accent’s kinda cute.

  6. Okay, well all I read was “Scottish ear worm”, and the song was already playing in my head. I didn’t even need to click on the link.

  7. In case anyone is interested, there is another Obama case being viewed by all nine SCOTUS judges today to determine its standing to proceed with a trial. This one accuses the POTUS of fraudulent use of a Social Security card that was initially issued to someone else.

  8. Try to get the link in there Syd. Looks like a good story but the MSM is great at covering for Obama, so it can be difficult to find it sometimes.
