  1. The smug moral crusaderism of worm-boy puts thousands of non-Taliban Afghans in mortal peril:
“Amnesty International and Reporters Without Borders have joined the Pentagon in criticizing (Wilileaks) for risking people’s lives by publishing war logs identifying Afghans working for the Americans or acting as informers.
“A Taliban spokesman in Afghanistan using the pseudonym Zabiullah Mujahid said in a telephone interview that the Taliban had formed a nine-member ‘commission’ after the Afghan documents were posted ‘to find about people who are spying.’ He said the Taliban had a ‘wanted’ list of 1,800 Afghans and was comparing that with names WikiLeaks provided.
“’After the process is completed, our Taliban court will decide about such people,’ he said.
“Mr. Assange defended posting unredacted documents, saying he balanced his decision ‘with the knowledge of the tremendous good and prevention of harm that is caused’ by putting the information into the public domain.”
Victor Davis Hanson in the NR:
“Like all narcissists, when reminded that his recklessness will lead to violence, mayhem, and deaths, (Assange) dismisses such dangers as insignificant in comparison to the benevolence that he bestows. Note how easily a computer hacker with a criminal record has established himself as judge, jury, and executioner on behalf of world truth. When he says, ‘I have become a lightning rod,’ he means, ‘I am the Lady Gaga of leaking.'”

  4. From The Ottawa Sun:
Taxpayers foot the bill for all of CBC’s buildings and their upkeep but the state broadcaster has refused to disclose how much they spend on building maintenance.
“An access to information request on the costs paid to Profac for managing CBC’s buildings was returned with all financial data stripped out. The response states that the information is protected because it contains confidential information.
“A similar request to the public works department seeking costs on the federal government’s contract with Profac showed questionable practices or management of the contract, including a charge of $5,000 for installing six lights and $1,000 to replace a doorbell.
“Profac, a subsidiary of SNC-Lavalin, manages hundreds of buildings for the federal government under a contract that does not include the CBC. Despite both using the same contractor, CBC maintains the costs associated with its contract are confidential while public works released specific invoices.”

They were warned if someone fell where a council employee had undertaken some work the council could be liable for any injuries suffered.”

  15. Haven’t seen this mentioned anywhere but last October or thereabouts an RPG (loaded and ready to fire)was found by a work crew near a section of the Malahat Highway on Vancouver Island. It just came out yesterday that it was registered to the Canadian Armed Forces. Hmmmmm! Also the last time it was accounted for was in 1976 in a munitions locker in Ottawa. Can somebody please, PLEASE ask the Liberals and the NDP why this “Firearm”, has been on the loose for 34 years even though, I expect, it had been duly authorized and registered.

“Clinton Won’t Shut Up-Obama Forced To Leave Stage Humiliated
Watching Obama and clinton press conference live on CNN. Obama tries to nudge Clinton off stage, you can even see him lower his shoulder to push his way in front of podium but clinton would not move. Finally after standing around looking like a child who’s dad has to fix things, Obama pats clinton on the back and tries to save face by exiting the stage. clinton simply keeps on talking as if he is still president and a servant just left the room.
I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS!(sic)”
