Michael Ignatieff today on CTV’s Question Period;
“I think I’ve never lacked the capacity to make decisions, but a decisive person knows when he has to make decisions, then makes the decisions he has to make, when he has to make them. I’ve made it very clear I would not hesitate to make decisions, if the party gives me the honour of electing me leader.”

Yikes! Can someone translate that for me. lol!
CTV reporting Dominic LeBlanc is out of the leadership race. Making way for the coronation of Iggy no doubt.
Sure: “deciding not to decide is very decisive.”

Do the Liberals run some kind of clandestine school where they teach their puppets how to talk and think?!
Michael Ignatieff: The Decider Jr.
ha! reminds me of this:
I’m dishonest, and a dishonest man you can always trust to be dishonest. Honestly. It’s the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they’re going to do something incredibly… stupid.
Do the Liberals run some kind of clandestine school where they teach their puppets how to talk and think?!
translation – I can make decisions, if I have to but only in exchange for status and power.
He is just another one of these academic assho;es that talks until he thinks if something to say.
Translation: I haven’t decided a thing.
If the water is 100 feet down, it doesn’t matter how many 90 foot wells you dig.
I have decided not to vote for him.
Here in Saskatchewan we had a coalition government in 1999, the same election the NDP lost the popular vote to the Saskatchewan Party. Jim Melenchuk was the Liberal leader at the time and he sold out completely to Roy Romanow in a shady back room deal.
The next election Jim abandon the Liberals all together and ran as a NDP. He was wiped out at the polls, as were the Liberals. The Liberals still haven’t recovered.
I have often said that if Jim Melenchuk had been sent as a covert operative by the NDP to destroy the Liberals in Saskatchewan he could not have possibly done a better job that he did by selling out to them the way he did.
Jack Layton is “Jim Melenchuking” Stephane Dion. Iggy sees that, but doesn’t know how to get out of it, yet.
From what I heard at the rally on Saturday we may just have a splinter group of Liberals going against the coalition, but that will only buy time. We will be back at the polls by March and the people of Canada will hopefully punish the Liberals and NDP for their attempted coup.
He’s still trying to figure out the best way to phrase elections are undemocratic .
Now that LeBlanc’s out, I’m betting the Toronto guy wins.
Now that quote has to go into the archives. Not only is he gutless, he’s a dingbat.
That’s what I meant a few days ago Trent, when I suggested the coalitistas talk to David Karwacki…
Shorter Iggy: “You think its easy to make decisions?”.
Wonder what Rae’s version is like?
It doesn’t matter who leads the liberal party. They are all equally pathetic.
And there goes Warren K. off to Jamaica. Coincidence??
When you’re the smartest person in the room, especially in your own mind, you can say things like this and think that you’re The One.
Iggy seems to be a cross between John F’n Kerry and B Hussein Obama. He’s the archetypal liberal, “He voted for the coalition before he voted against it.”
CTV reports that Ignatieff will be named interim leader on Wednesday and that those close to Rae say he will be a “team player” and not fight that.
So the coalition is dead.
The Accord signed is null and void since it has Mr. Dion’s signature on it, not Ignatieff’s.
I just can’t see Ignatieff repeating the farce from a few days ago. He’s not going to sit down with Jack and Duceppe and do another signing ceremony.
The coalition is dead in the water.
Just another unelectable Liberal, albeit an American one. What are these guys in so much of a rush to run off the cliff? They have no party to lead, and no chance to get elected by the public. Oops, did I just say something profound?
I am having abit o difficulty understanding what iggy is saying, perhps the future PMSD could translate it for us.
Another effete, elite, perfessor and not a calus in their whole silver spoon lifetime!
I don’t ususally listen to Q.P. but hearing Iggy say that shows he didn’t respond to the question.
The best the Liberals can do for a “leader-in-waiting” is the Bob Rae?
Hope Harper and the CPC get the election and majority they deserve.
“Jack Layton is “Jim Melenchuking” Stephane Dion.”
And Stephane is eating it up. Did you seem him yesterday at those rallies?
With his new buddies in the NDP he has been re-invigorated, and I predict he won’t resign as Liberal Leader.
Trent shhhhh fer cripes sakes . let it happen.
Stephane’s ego gets a boost every time he tardily steps up in front of a coalition rally. And Jack standing there with an evil moustachioed grin.
Iggy had a chance to completely walk away. By not taking a stand against it, he’s for it. He’s in up to his eyeballs and will wear the mess. Dithers Part II; not good for the country.
“Yikes! Can someone translate that for me. lol!

Sure, he has decided that he will decide on when to decide to make a decision……….
BRB, need tylenol………..
I decided I was in favor of not deciding if I was in favor of looking indecicive, I mean I was for it before I decided to make it look like I was deciding to look like I could have made a decision I am a decisive person who is capable of making decisions when its appropriate to be decicive, always assuming of course that you are positive that it is a good decision to decide I wonder what Boob thinks?
Cheers Bubba
Dead on soccermon. And All members of the Libs signed that letter to the GG, including Dithers II. He can’t have it both ways, hinting he’s against it then signing in favor of it.

somebody should ask him what he would do if he was
prime minister… apparently it nearly killed that
other guy.

About the CTV, if I may?
Today, like too many other distressing days. Many Canadians wait for CTV to provide balance in its reporting.
So far today, Canadians have seen and heard at least three high powered Liberals pounding the…Harper caused a unity crisis…in all news cycles.
A virtual Liberal/Coalition infomercial all day long. Just another long disturbing day of… all Liberals all the time.
Federalist/Canadians anxiously await balanced reporting from the CTV.
As Canadians watch history in the making, Canadians feel it imperative to see and hear all sides. Canadians deserve nothing less.
I was going to post something here, but where is here? I don’t no if I’m coming, going,or already left.I guess, maybe, perhaps,I could make a decision, but only if no decision is left to me.I don’t lack the decisive to be decisive, but when should I be decisive? When da proof is da proof because it is prooven?Or is that privven?
Hell.I think I will decide to have another spiced rum.
The only Liberals with a shred of integrity appear to be either Manley or McKenna, the rest have all been snookered and signed on to the coalition pact with Taliban Jack and separatist / communist Gilles Duceppe.
Watching them try and weasel out of why they signed on the pact is a classic scenario of human deviousness, worthy of contempt and ridicule.
Sort of Puffin-like, covering their excrement.
I’ve decided to be undecided. That’s my decision.
And if you disiagree I may decide to make a new decision. Where’ Stephane when I need him? He’ll clear it up.
He may even put it on tape.
The Coalition is dead! The Coalition is dead! The Coalition is dead!
Not that it had much of a life.
Frankenstein had a better, longer life.
Iggy will certainly steal away some support, but, he won’t make deals with Wacko Jacko…..
Once again PMSH snuffs out and outsmarts his opponents.
/sarc on
And its all his fault too, he’s such a mean nasty uncooperative ass /sarc off
Hey, isn’t this kind of like Obama voting “Present” all the time in the Illinois Senate?
I wonder how many liberal supporters read what Iggy thinks he decided he means about what he decided he thinks and said ” wooow man , that was deep” and then had spontaneous multiple orgasms .
Well, we can dust off those “Not a Leader” ads and use them again, with a few minor changes.
“Hey, isn’t this kind of like Obama voting “Present” all the time in the Illinois Senate?

Well maybe, soccermom. But was he present or precisient? Did he appear to be present,or was he just a present? Where’s my gift wrap?
Is that sentence too long for you to understand Kate? Would you prefer that the edumacated types keep their sentences to five words or less?
So, has the Liberal Party just told their membership that the leader will be declared by the caucus only?
No wonder, they can so easily disregard the voter who cannot give them their support, if they cannot follow their own constitution, and wait for their members to have their say.
But, this would be all about getting power back, any way they have to go about getting it.
At least the Liberal members who hate this might be done, will have a say eventually in the party set-up.
That is not the case for Canadians who *can never* get to the Bloc candidates, to pressure them, outside of Quebec.
I like his comments about Manley. Bit of a “stay back or I’ll kneecap you, Beaker!” vibe coming from the future Romulan Liberal leader.
“edumacated”
That’s a cute word. Did you learn that from Dion, or one of the other illiterates in your party?
Ignatieff is so firmly seated on the fence that someone should check his [elided] for splinters.
I think we just heard the english version of “a proof is a proof”. Lawyers and professors seem to have too many words available for coherent speaking skills. To educated for a direct answer?
Rea, Ignatieff or even Manley, it matters not. All of the Liberal MP’s, their strategists and advisers, except one, backed this coalition of the three stooges and they will all have to wear that hat for a long, long time indeed.
Do you mean if I were to make decisions last week, or if I were to have… If I would have made decisions 2 1/2 years ago, I would … can we start again?
Today, or since a week, or…
If I were making decisions starting when?
BB: “No wonder, they can so easily disregard the voter who cannot give them their support, if they cannot follow their own constitution, and wait for their members to have their say.”
The Conservative ad for the next election campaign writes itself, doesn’t it.
