    Germany’s productivity numbers seem to be spilling over into other fields… soon enough the electorate will notice this at the same time as an election is actually in season…

    1. You let people in from other countries, where the standard of living was much lower, to work in your low wage economy and, to your surprise, they go on welfare instead. Please put a check mark beside the stupid people. In the meantime I would like to redefine the problem with socialism as … socialism is great until eventually other people run out of your money.

      It has repeatedly been explained to liberals that a Welfare State and unlimited immigration are mathematically incompatible.

      The other great liberal fallacy now being experientially validated is that no nation can be competitive in manufacturing with energy prices at 4X that paid by firms in other nations.

      Trump has demonstrated that staunching the tide of unregulated immigration is possible.

      The competitive challenge of inflated energy prices, however, likely cannot be addressed in sufficiently timely fashion to save Germany from disintegration.

      1. There are a lot of reasons the left is psychotic about Trump.

        One of the biggest is that they know that if Trump is successful enough with immigration people will realize that a lot of huge, systematic problems like high housing, education and health care costs were greatly worsened by open border policies, and they don’t require the left’s socialism to fix.

  3. Germany’s economic collapse has little to do with its Muslim population – large numbers of Turks have worked in their industry for decades. The real problem was for Germany to take the wrong side in a minor regional conflict and then be railroaded by the US and NATO into cutting off their own nose. Smarter governments will eventually return to Germany and will follow the proposals of German business:

      True. I was in Munich way back in ’73 and I was startled by the number of non-Aryans on that city. A German soldier who shared a few beers with us told us they were Turks who worked at the BMW plants and other automotive industries.

I think the work ethic of the average Turk who arrived in the 70-80’s to assemble VW’s or BMW’s is very different from the recent influx of tier 2 people, they were then known as “temporary workers” and like any temp. worker, feared they’d be “sent back home” if they behaved out of line. The recent Somalians, Afghans, Syrians, Iraqis or any of the other North African people don’t seem to fear that.

    12.8% of Germany’s population is from outside the EU, their crime stats show who is at fault.
    “Share of foreign nationals among 2017 crime suspects” … from the Wall Street Journal:
    74% of pickpockets are by foreigners
    55% of forgery of official documents
    40% of burglaries
    37% of rape and sexual assault
    34% of social benefit theft
    29% of murder

    In 2006, in Bavaria, 4% of the foreign population were criminal suspects. The corresponding figure for the non-foreign population was 2%… perhaps the gov’t of Bavaria has stopped counting where folks were from, much like Canada stopped counting vaxed vs non vaxed when it appeared the stats weren’t giving the correct results.

  8. It isn’t just the immigration, Germany has at one time a massive chemical industry, one of the main inputs in chemical plants is energy, and Germany’s net 0 delusion will destroy it like it destroys any country, but then, that’s the goal, isn’t it Herr Carney?
