  6. As you all know, I am a bit of a vinyl aficionado. Especially high quality, superbly engineered, remastered, and pressed vinyl. One of the earliest examples of superbly engineered/remastered vinyl was by the (now legendary) Steve Hoffman for DCC Records in the early 1980’s. I have a modest collection of these rare pressings, but none sound better than Linda Ronstadt’s Greatest Hits Vol. 1&2 (she had loads of hits … hahahaha ha).

    I own some of the best sounding vinyl ever pressed, but sonically these two Ronstadt DCC lp’s are among the absolute best. Perhaps it’s “the female voice” which is the acid test for sound quality as there is simply so much tonal nuance in the female (not trans fake female) voice.

Yep … she slept with Jerry Brown, and lived with George Lucas in his house on the hill in San Anselmo, CA … I used to drive Sir Francis Drake Bl. to where it “tees” to a stop in San Anselmo … and look up at the Victorian era mansion on the hill above where Lucas lived with Ronstadt. I used to imagine her lounging around in her underwear with George. Yeah … I had far too much “toxic testosterone” in those days … hahahaha ha
