Gail Vaz-Oxlade “is a Jamaican-Canadian financial writer and television personality”.  She also supported the coronation of Mark Carney after 9 years of complete financial incompetence by Trudeau’s Liberal government, where Carney was a financial advisor for a good portion of it.

      My oldest daughters father in law, a Jamaican, is liter skinned than me. Deal with it, there are white Jamaicans.

  3. I used to watch her show where she counselled people on their spending and how to get their personal finances in order. Seems odd to me she supports 10 years of fiscal mismanagement at the government level and wants more of the same. I guess she’s a typical leftie charlatan.

    1. She went insane during the Harper administration, apparently due to the delusion that her children were going to be deported. I don’t know what her rationale for that was but she shut down her entire financial advice business in favour of political activism.

      Which is why you haven’t heard from her in fifteen years.

  4. Been in the USA for eight days touring through New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, North Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia, , Georgia on my homestretch back now on a motorcycle. What an absolutely beautiful country and everyone I’ve met has been nice. I’ve avoided the ones I can see aren’t.

  5. I live close enough to Canada that my phone gets “Welcome to Canada” texts frequently from Canadian cell towers. If it weren’t for this blog, I would probably have decided not to visit Canada for a while, just as a protest against the way your government has sown devision just to hold on to power. But you know what? I like Canada, and the people I would be *slightly* harming economically are not my enemies.

  7. We traveled down recently and several American motels gave us a discount because of our worthless currency. Plus every other discount they could.

  8. Every country has their good areas and the no-go zones. Our Canadian governments are doing everything they can to ensure we are more like the states. Except for the part about the good areas. The good areas must be held back because they say it’s bad for our country, or racism, or something

  9. Jamaicans are some of the most murderous people in the Americas. As far back as I’ve been watching, going back more than 25 years,Jamaica has had one of the highest murder rates in the Americas. They were always in the top five or top 10 of murders committed per capita.
    Jamaica, the island, is approximately the Geographic size of Toronto and it’s suburbs, and has just about the same amount of people. But the difference is Toronto has as little as 65 murders a year to a high of over a hundred murders a year. Jamaica on the other hand has something like 1400 to 1700 murders per year! And that doesn’t even include the extra-judicial killings committed by the state against criminals and people the government doesn’t like.
    Also many of the murders committed every year in Toronto over the last 45 years have been committed by Jamaicans or their offspring.
    So in conclusion, whenever I hear or see the word Jamaican in any context, in any story, I Spit on the ground

      Jamaica, that loathsome Caribbean island nation filled with a race of murderous people, is in the top five countries in the world, per capita for murder every year going back for decades!!!
      Using the latest statistics going back to 2023, 2 years ago, Jamaica was number one on planet Earth for the most murders per capita. They are truly the most violent, murderous race of people on planet Earth.

    2. I think it is the drugs. A woman from Jamaica pointed out to me that if you look at a map with a plan to smuggle drugs to the US from Columbia, you can go through a bunch of countries by land. or you can fly into Jamaica and fly out. They are a hub. Concerned people have looked at what can be done to protect kids and neighborhoods, and they are threatened. Very challenging.
