Sam Cooper- Conservative Candidate Joe Tay Paused Public Campaigning After Chinese Threat Warning

Two sources with awareness of the matter said the move came after the SITE Task Force—Canada’s election-threat monitor—confirmed that Tay is the subject of a highly coordinated transnational repression operation tied to the People’s Republic of China. The campaign seeks not only to discredit Tay, but to suppress the ability of Chinese Canadian voters to access his campaign messages online, via cyber operations conducted by Beijing’s internet authorities.

Now, with six days until Canada’s pivotal vote—in an election likely to be decided across key Toronto battleground ridings—it appears that Tay’s ability to reach voters in person has also been downgraded.

  1. So, if the Tay campaign, or random unaffiliated citizens that were interested in community awareness, took photos of the communist agents tailing him, and made “Wanted” or “Beware of spies” posters, would that be illegal? Which do you think the RCMP would be more interested in: actual Communist agents interfering in an election, or Canadians that came out strongly against this interference? Hmmmm…..

  2. So is Maggie Chi the chosen CCP candidate in Don Valley North?

The Chair of the Don Valley North Judi Codd was paraphrased by CBC in 2023 as saying “Judi Codd, president of the Liberal electoral district association in the Don Valley North riding, told CBC she finds the allegations in Global’s story “baseless” and Dong’s nomination was by-the-book. She said there’s no evidence that anyone was bused in and that everyone was required to show ID in order to vote.”

And she has been the chair, since 2020.

  3. Further to the above, Maggie Chi employs Ted Lojko, who happened to convince Han Dong to run in 2019 and served as his campaign manager.

Fortunately for all involved, the “Inquiry’s Final Report” found no evidence of “traitors” in Parliament, and an OSC judge said there was no documented evidence to support allegations against Dong.

  4. Doesn’t anyone stop and think ” How in the FK ?!”, how ?
Who would have thought you come to see what a country was like where there was hardly any will to do anything.
