      1. He is not self made, that is daddy’s money and some of it was wisely invested in NYC real estate during the ’80s. I don’t begrudge him what’s his but he’s never been self-made. No one requires outside validation more than Orange Creature.

    Davis Hanson is ostensibly a historian which means he should know that over 100 years ago the US in fact had open immigration which saw it take in far more people normed to population than it has in recent years. What a hack.

    2. One hundred years ago the US quarantined or sent back disease-carrying immigrants. Known criminals were rejected. They also didn’t provide a nice comfy welfare state for newcomers to recline and live off the US taxpayer; immigrants had to work hard to become citizens, and contributing ones at that.

Scott Bessent (you know, the guy actually running the funds of the most powerful state on earth, instead of trolling a fringe basement blog like this) laid it out pretty clearly with Tucker Carlson.
