  1. Only in Canada, eh? Thank God. York university has DDEI. Not only diversity, equity and inclusion, on no, that won’t do. Need decolonization too. Any retarded crap the Americans can come up with we’ll out woke it. The only thing Canada leads the world in…wokeness. The hilarious part is like all leftist progressive idiocy, it needs to get more stringent, until no one passes the test.

    1. “We have a decolonization, equity, and diversity inclusion strategy,” she said.

      CANCELED!

Good. Now we have a historically rational, fair, normative common sense strategy I say.

    2. My sister had worked as a program co-ordinator at the Extension department of the University of Regina in the early 90’s before it was closed down. She followed events there and informed me about 2 years ago that there are 49 programs at the U of R which have NEVER had anyone graduate from them. At that time, the U of R was “considering” closing them down. I do not know if this happened.
I think we are living in a period of great change. Universities and other institutions of higher learning MUST make radical decisions as to which programs are kept because the financing is no longer there.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Interior Design, Faculty of Architecture from the University of Manitoba in 1975. At that time, there was a big push on for design graduates because of the need for corporate office design. Thankfully, I was able to get into hospitality design in Toronto which better suited my interests. Now though, there are too many colleges and universities graduating interior design students, who cannot get jobs. The provincial interior design associations are making it very difficult to call yourself an interior designer even though you have degree in same. You must do so many hours of design, so many hours of working drawings, so many hours of client relations and so many hours of project management. And that is IF you get a job. You must also belong to the provincial association and write the NCIDQ exams at a terrific cost. And still too many students are being graduated with no jobs to look forward to. I am happy to be retired now.

      1. Sounds like you found a fabulous Interiors niche’ to practice. Hospitality would be fun! I think of what it would be like to be a Disney Imagineer, or even a Hollywood set designer where I suspect some unlicensed, un-degreed, design talent create fabulous designs. A degree or license doesn’t guarantee talent. Designing Hotel Lobbies would be FUN! I especially admire some of the lighting designers who create incredible custom-made dramatic light fixtures

Without revealing too much I am an associated licensed Design professional. It’s a tough profession if one has a goal of getting wealthy. However, as with any line of business … if you are good at what you do … there will always be work.

Having said that … I don’t believe even 50% of my graduating class are actually working in the profession. It seems to be the same in Mechanical Engineering. I know more ME graduates who working in finance than I know ME graduates actually working in anything related to ME.

Sometimes the TRUE VALUE of a college education is to teach you how to think, how to work independently with discipline, and how to have an inquisitive mind. Sadly … our colleges don’t promote this anymore as they have become fascist brainwashing factories with ever-lowered standards of admission and graduation.

      2. l have long long long suspected ‘programs’ at colleges and universities cater to the numbers ‘desiring’ a career in said discipline and not paying more than 20 seconds per semester in gauging the market, keeping tabs on the demand and typical annual vacancies.
thus for them, cash cow status and jokes about ‘you want fries with that?’

  2. Had not seen before about the defiant act of the world “leaders” taking their suit jackets half off.The world just get gets stupider.

    1. having observed politicians some 60 years now (anybody remember CBC ‘The Nations Business’?) and a poli sci degree (McMaster U Hamilton 1995), the clown leaders link is one of the most frightening and complete assessments on the topic l have EVER read.
and, worst part, l suspect it is accurate and tells us what to expect over the next decade(s). the *exception* is Trump and Vance.
dear Lord in Heaven, if you deem that l will still be alive when The End Times hit, let it be, that the long hunch and ominous feeling l have had, and expressed at times, that *you have a task in store for me* be related to some deed that consists of a hellfire raining down on this evil, and that you allow me to live just long enough to see the results to feel great satisfaction at this act of Holy Vengeance you have tasked me with. and my next conscious experience be praise and glory in Paradise for the WILLING sacrifice. amen.

  3. Weird Tim Walz – future of the Democrat party…wants to get physical.
Delusional loser and future answer to a trivia question Tim Walz thinks Republicans think about him.

Offers to kick Tim’s ass for charity are now pouring in.

    1. And I’ll kick in $10k if the under ticket is Joe Biden vs Donald Trump out behind the gym. No rules. No weapons. And if we can get Vlad Putin vs Volo Zelenskyyy for an ex KGB vs Natzi grudge match to end the Ukraine WASTE … I’ll go $20k

  4. ‘Extinction Rebellion’, et al, – forget the idiots who dress up, it’s the idiots who take the idiots who dress up seriously that are the problem.

We are a nation of graduate degree holders in ‘Gullibility 101’, and until that’s done with, and set aside permanently, we’ll continue to slide on our asses into the morass.

  5. Carney’s media are excited about the “Elbows Up” rally at Toronto City Hall today. They will have to share space with the daily demonstrations by Hamas supporters.

    1. “Elbows Up” is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.
      Especially from a nation of limp-wristed, pencil-necked, mommy-staters.

      1. Can I be honest here and say “elbows up” sounds gay. An unnatural body position that virtually guarantees your wrists will hang limp from the elevated position. Yeah … good luck with latest LGBTQueer Parade of poofters.

        Unnatural and silly.

    2. the photos contain signs and posters boasting of freedom.
      ?
with record levels of censorship, ‘what are these freedoms of which ye speake?’

  6. Speaking of limp-wristed pencil-necks, Carney is definitely not a mommy-stater.
    He’s a self-declared hardcore, 15 minute city, boot-on-throat Orwellian archetype.

    1. Out of the George Soros school of using the capitalist dogs own money to fashion the rope.

  7. Politics and sports should never be mixed.
Hope the Oilers go out 4 straight in the playoffs.

    1. Good Lord! And we get upset because some Septuagenarian ponytailed fool just shakes his cane at Trump … your Parliament is a shit show of middle school morons. No wonder your country is sliding into oblivion
