Ashton Schottler is a pretty American woman living in Germany. She epitomizes the term “Limousine Liberal”. Her arrogance & hypocrisy are exemplified by these two recent videos of hers:

In the first, she condemns all conservative news outlets in America and praises Leftist European ones. This is “rich”, given JD Vance’s very correct, recent condemnation of Germany’s path down a totalitarian spiral.
In the second, she smugly tells Americans why voting for the Republicans was not in their own best interest. Think about that for a moment. She is saying that not voting for the incompetent Kamala Harris, and her band of Democrat DEI Trans Lunatics, whose vast corruption schemes are being uncovered almost daily now, was NOT in their best interest.
I’ve been around sanctimonious Leftists like Schottler all of my life. Their righteousness has no upper limits. Their convenient ignorance of facts is astounding.
After 35 seconds I decided that she’s been getting grants from USAID to do that.
I couldn’t even make it to 35 seconds! It was that VOICE – a variation of Chrystia Freeland’s “bossy little girl” voice combined with millennial vocal fry. Both vocal affectations positively REEK of condescension and entitlement. As a disciple of Signalling Theory, that all – ALL – one needs to know about this person.

I was having a back and forth with a couple of arrogant Germans on social media about political matters and it is clear they are afraid of the Stasi coming after them for their posts. They don’t seem to realize that it is THEY who are on the same path that Germany was in the early 1930’s. They just have different targets this time. They are the Borg.

Oh, they claim to be Israel’s biggest booster in Europe, but that’s because they’re afraid of Israel’s nuclear arsenal, same way they’re afraid of the Muslims they brought in as the Jews’ replacements. They never genuinely tried to make amends for the harm they did to the Jewish people. When they finally offered financial compensation to Israel for Jewish property stolen or destroyed in the war, it was a fraction of any reasonable estimate. Many Israelis justly regarded it as an insult.
Allowing the still openly anti-Semitic “elites” of the GDR to infiltrate and take over their institutions (q.v. Angela Merkel passim) made matters worse. The GDR didn’t offer Israel a pfennig. (On the contrary—the GDR did well selling Jews to Israel for hard cash.)

The average German no longer remembers the consequences of annoying the Russians, never mind the Jews. On the contrary. Even in east Germany, when the Wall came down, the average person in the New Provinces probably still believed in Santa Claus—and that Socialism Will Prevail (Der Sozialismus siegt).
Every time history repeats itself, the price goes up. The AfD have apparently gotten less than 20 percent of the vote. All the other parties are run by unrepentant communists or were taken over by Stasi agents after re-unification.
The way to bet is that the Germans will repeat their history. What’s not clear is whether there will still be a Germany as we know it afterwards.

Could have been the inflatable (capitalist) Pig dirigibles flying over filthy factory smokestacks, or could have been the cut “Dogs” … aimed at us Capitalist Dogs. And Waters lyrics were oh so clever … and the main reason why I love this PF lp the MOST is the incredible innovative guitar lead runs, fills, and melodies by David Gilmour (Floyd’s most psychedelic lp). But as I read those cutting lyrics today … they take dead aim on dead and failed worldwide socialism far more accurately than it does Capitalism. It is Germany … the EU … and Britain who are being “dragged down by the stone”. The millstones they’ve saddled their people with of unsustainable public debt, and the simultaneous erasure of industrial and energy capacity which could rescue their plummet.
