   If I was the judge in the lower court, I’d issue a court order forbidding the lawyers and the kids they represent from using any cars. Reason? To fight climate change.

I think that the western democracies have made life so safe for millions of people, that the idiots have survived infancy and childhood to mature (I will not say “grow up”) into “less than special” adults. University in the early 20’s also protects people from their mistakes. Perhaps by the time they are in their mid-30’s and have worked for a while, they will have smartened up. I do not think we have that luxury of being able to wait.
