Because I used to use this very example when arguing with the brainwashed fools who believe it is okay to surgically mutilate teenagers who ‘identify’ as ‘transsexuals’: I would mention ‘body integrity dysphoria’ and ask, “well, is it okay to remove an eye, a foot or a finger to placate *those* people” and *their* particular mental illness?”

Someone in the comments section suggested this was a travesty, since many Canadians don’t have a family doctor. A couple of questions: would you want this mutilator treating your spouse or children? Would it be okay in this commentor’s eyes, if everyone had a family doctor?
Years ago, I knew a dentist, who enjoyed the cutting/surgery aspect of dentistry. He applied to medical school and was turned down, supposedly because he enjoyed cutting a little to much. My how times have changed.
I used to have a family doctor in Kamloops in the eighties; interesting guy as he was both a practicing GP and a dental surgeon.
He had a regular general practice during the week and worked out of the local hospital on Saturdays doing difficult mouth work for the local dentists/doctors.
Busy fellow and a good sense of humour too.
Our leftist overlords HATE God … and anything that smacks of God … such as his CREATION. What’s sad is that there are Doctors who HATE God too. And will happily play-god as they carve-out vaginas on men’s front parts and addadichtomes for perfectly good women created by God.
