Did you read that in the voice of “Mortal Kombat?”
Steven Guilbeault accuses Danielle Smith of “trying to tear Canada down”
Ask Pipeline Online readers are aware, whenever this minister speaks of such issues, it is useful to provide his entire discourse, verbatim and unedited. Especially the part about the evils of methane from cows. So here it is, as posted on X the evening of Jan. 11, in all 10 parts.
And on a different note, people in the Saskatchewan oilpatch might recognize some names here: Del Mondor, Brad Wall and Myron Stadnyk to be honored at Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show in June.
Obama runs Canada… just ask the white privileged and disgraceful Trudeau all about it…or your Canadian Bucks become toilet flushing paper…ops, plastic, too scratchy.
Truth, you can’t handle the truth…
” Steven Guilbeault accuses Danielle Smith of “trying to tear Canada down” ”
Hmmm … is that not the same excuse given by every totalitarian thug throughout history when they attack anyone who dares disagree with the despicable actions of the regime?
Warning Canadians about very real problems around economic destruction and destruction of national unity created by the federal government is not tearing down Canada. There is an obligation to warn of fire in a crowded theater if there is, in fact, a fire. The resource economy in Alberta and Saskatchewan are (metaphorically) being set ablaze by arsonists in the Trudeau Liberals government and that is igniting a long smoldering national unity/separatist powderkeg on the western prairies.
Leftist totalitarians alway leave out three key words – “That I Want.”
Danielle Smith is destroying the Canada…”That I Want.”
Trump (or Populism, or Patriotism) is a threat to the democracy…”That I Want.”
They are control freaks. The word that control freaks hate the most is “no”. That is why it is good to see the governments in Alberta and Saskatchewan embrace the power of “no”. The premiers need to keep saying “no” over and over to Ottawa until the federal government stops interfering in our business.
that would be something eh, after TROC putting up with kay beck’s bluffing and blackmail for decades to think its Alberta bails first.
Pure projection. Foundational to the left. Accuse your opponent of that which you are doing.
Hans Gruber, like all great villains, thought he was in the right.
Steven Guilbeault knows that he is doing wrong.
Having watched Die Hard recently (a Christmas tradition) I take offense at this blog’s constantly comparing Steven Guilbeault to Hans Gruber
Gruber is worldly, witty, suave, ruthless, attractive (in a sinister way), and knows good Savile Row tailoring when he sees it.
Guilbeault is a shambolic, provincial buffoon – a bumblingly-inarticulate childlike creature who, shorn of his Liberal Party skin-suit, would be incapable of competently managing the cell phone kiosk at the local mall, much less taking over Nakatomi Plaza.
guilbeault always looks like he’s slept in his car in his Tip Top suit. Classless
Bullseye!
I keep saying he’s more like the sleazy greaseball backstabber Ellis. He’s perfectly willing to throw Canada and Canadians under the bus in favor of his ideological goal.
Agreed. Plus, Hans Gruber has a beautiful voice you want to listen to. Guilbeault makes you want to turn the radio down.
The difference is Hans Gruber is a fictional character in entertainment, Stephen Guilbeault is a real enemy of us all.
I think the real comparison can only be made by dropping Guilbeault off a building.
Has anybody ever seen Steve Guilbeault and the gopher from Caddie Shack in the same room together ?
Awesome but I liked the gopher on Caddie Shack!!!!! Guilbeault if not a Liar is very DUMB!
Where’s this going? What’s the final outcome?
Get rid of cows methane gas.
Eat less meat eat more veggies, legumes.
Produce more HUMAN methane gas output.
How to reduce methane gas output?
Refer to line 2.
If we had any Journalists left in Canada surely one would have asked Herr Gruber if he was aware 50 million Bison once roamed North America. And they are a lot bigger than cows.
So then, was it the bison or the aborigionals, that were responsible for the disappearance of the mile thick ice sheet covering Canada? Or maybe a combination of the two?
Man, I gotta steal both of those last two points.
You nailed it!! It was buffalo farts what done it.
How about the millions of ungulates currently roaming Africa? Their numbers dwarf our cattle industry.
So their farts don’t count?
Is the issue Saving the Planet or just Punishing the West?
Everyone forgets that fish fart. There’s lots of fish in the sea.
The good news is that Gumboots and the rest of the Liberal/Dipper thugs will be out of office after the next election. Mind you, Justatwit has so much of his ego tied up in remaining in the Langevin Block longer than Laurier, he may have to be dragged out kicking and shrieking.
I would really like to think that – but I know too many people in Ontario and Quebec along with the Maritimes that will always vote Liberal or NDP. Singh may have ruled out a coalition, but I doubt that would stop him if it lead to power.
And never omit the real possibility that the election will be missed because of world events – I’m thinking that is a real possibility in the US and I don’t think there would be much standing in the way of Canada following their lead.
I’m still out on the Conservatives, but at this point I’m willing to vote for them, and I realize that it is too early to release details of any platform because the Liberals will either attack it or steal it – they have NO original ideas other than to tax, tax, and more tax.
Then you need to see this. Note in particular Ontario and Quebec at the bottom of this graph.
https://abacusdata.ca/conservative-lead-by-17-over-liberals-abacus-data/
The Tories dominate in Ontario and the Bloq (which hates the Liberals) dominates in Quebec. And no one gives a flying f**k about the PPC or the Greens.
Then look at the Time for a Change graph. Justatwit is a walking corpse.
Then look at the top three issues graph. The Liberals are the walking dead on all three. The Liberals key issue was climate change, but given what Canadians actually care about, Gumboots is past tense.
Hence, no 2024 election as Jagmeet waits out his MP pension until at least Feb.25.
He’s the Liberals’ man of the year 2023 and 2024 for his part in the Gritdipshit collectivist coalition.
New/old Dipper Party:
Bad policies.
Bad planning.
Bad finances.
Bad leader.
Support frozen, despite a fully exposed Grit left flank.
With Conservatives eating both their lunches.
Grits are like their DeMarxist cousins, trapped into vilifying the voters they desperately need.
It couldn’t happen to a more deserving bunch of frustrated, fantasizing fascists.
That would be my suspicion. Both Jughead and Justatwit are looking at political annihilation. It’s such a trainwreck that it’s unlikely that the Liberals will find a replacement leader easily. Justatwit, based on abacus’ polling above, is the most hated Canadian PM in history. No one, not even Mulroney or Kim Campbell, has explored these depths of being loathed.
It should also be noticed that none of the dwindling support for the Libs/Dips is migrating to the Greens/PPC. Canadians have looked at Bernier and May and said “nyet”.
All the more reason I think the Liberals will pull a stunt to ensure that either the election is suspended or delayed OR that massive amounts of Canadians will be disqualified. Here I’m thinking that they will insist that anyone who supported the Trucker’s convey will be declared guilty of treason and will be not allowed to vote. And frankly the Supreme Court will go along with it. Or someone voter information cards will have incorrect vote locations printed on them and surprise, surprise those cards will only go to ridings where the Liberals are going to lose.
Call me jaded, but I just don’t trust any politician and the various mechanisms (so called independent agencies) that will go along.
Unlikely. Treason does not exist in the Canadian legal code any more. It’s really not possible to pull a stunt disqualifying millions of voters. And the Canadian federal system uses ballots filled out by hand, making large-scale voting fraud far more difficult. Mail-in balloting is far more complex and difficult to fake than it is in the United States.
Because Canadian elections are more difficult to defraud, this is why Justatwit and Jughead are gong to drag this out to the bitter end until the mandate finally expires and they lose a vote of confidence in the House. In the forthcoming election, it will be interesting to see how much of the Liberal cabinet gets vaporized as well.
There is one good thing to look forward to. The bitter tears and wails of despair from assorted journalism whores Rosie Barton, Andrew Coyne, Chantal Hebert and the entire staff of the CBC and the Red Star will be a thing of joy.
With Dipper help, the boy blunder and his band of brinkmanship can hold out until 2026.
Five years from the last election. Fixed election legislation is meaningless, especially to those who cherry pick when we accede to authority, custom and laws (which are irrelevant to power).
Section 4 of our Charter of Rights and Freedoms lays out the constitutional requirement thusly:
“(1) No House of Commons and no legislative assembly shall continue for longer than five years from the date fixed for the return of the writs at a general election of its members.”
OTOH:
“(2) In time of real or apprehended war, invasion or insurrection, a House of Commons may be continued by Parliament and a legislative assembly may be continued by the legislature beyond five years if such continuation is not opposed by the votes of more than one-third of the members of the House of Commons or the legislative assembly, as the case may be.”
Perhaps the DeMarxist could provide advice on that, given the MAGA Conservatives currently lurking, the fringe majority.
OTOH – this bunch already ripped, shredded, lied about and ignored the Charter with their EA Stalinist find you the crime gambit, with its abject abrogation of the “Oakes Test:”
“1 The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees the rights and freedoms set out in it subject only to such reasonable limits prescribed by law as can be demonstrably justified in a free and democratic society.”
Which necessarily includes obtaining an injunction to remove the convoy from the Hill, which they never did, but I digress from this grifting government’s latest incursions into liberty for power.
How about thrown out a window, shrieking and more importantly splatting?
It is called “DARVO”, a standard Marxist tactic, which stands for “Deny, Accuse, Reverse Role of Victim and Oppressor”. James Lindsay did an entire piece on this tactic in a video.
I’m a rental manager. We use a DAVRO handbook, so always know what stage the recalcitrant tenant is at.
More like a checklist you can set your watch by.
looking more and more like independence for AB,SK is viable. Anyone remember the “trade corridor” tossed around by Ralph Klein, and the governors of MT,WY,CO,TX,NM ? Under President Ramaswamy that idea could be revived. then it’s just a matter of getting a free enterprise government in MB to open up the Hudson Bay route. Secession of the BC Peace region is a bridge too far though hahaha.
When I hear that AB/SK is getting rid of the RCMP, then I might believe you. And regardless of what you might think, Hudson Bay is not navigable at least five months of the year.
Millhand, I recall participating in something called the “Rocky Mountain Trade Corridor” around 2001. Your list of states is accurate. Another insight is the upper midwest has about 30 million people/customers within an 12 hour drive from the Alberta US border. There are trade and export groups that have been working on improving this trade corridor for at least a decade. It is organized and businesses do participate. One example is Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP).
There is also the Greater Idaho Movement
I’m all about tearing Canada down. The fantasy of what westerners vs easterners vs québécois vs maritimers actually think Canada is bifurcating. When he says Canada it’s not your Canada it’s his Canada: upper Canada. Then lower Canada. And western Canada . They are all different nations and as long as everyone falls for the scam that is Canadians are to be subservient to upper Canada, then yeah, it should be torn down.
His canada, is Lower Canada, aka quebec… and everyone needs to believe in his religion…
I’ll posit this.
If a country was founded to keep the US from buying British North America from the British ( and coincidentally put the Laurentian Elite out of power), how legitimate is it really?
I don’t believe Canada was in fact founded to keep the US from buying British North America. It was founded because the British Crown had an obligation to defend its North American provinces, and in the circumstances created by the American Civil War, could not hope to meet that obligation. By creating an artificial authority over the territory and declaring that the new government has responsibility for defence, they ensured that, if the US did invade any province, the UK would not automatically be at war. It was meant to work the way it eventually did work in Grenada; the country wasn’t worth fighting for, and this arrangement ensured that nobody would.
I’m not aware of any American attempt to buy Canada after the Civil War, but if they’d been interested, I’m not sure who would have objected. A quick sale at a decent price and we all would have been happy. Probably no happier than we are now, but differently happy.
Liberal Cretin Hairball.
The run up to enacting War Measures 2.0 again. For the good of the country. Predictably, Smith’s being painted with the Louis Riel brush. Maybe AB should move faster on ridding itself of the Mounties…
Martin – yes get ready for the emergency act. Canada supported airstrikes against the Houthis. Certainly the increasingly emboldened Hamas supporters will be down with that. If you let things proceed until they are totally out of control, you can seize a lot of power. Think stopping flights from China or if it’s just a little incursion into Ukraine. It is well used play book. I have a question. As the precedent has been set that you need a very low bar to institute the emergency act, are elections suspended while it is in force?
Louis Riel is now considered a hero.
So? Control the present and control the past, and the point of Power is to use it.
Did something change?
He looks more and acts more like “Ellis” in the original Die Hard. To refresh your memory. Ellis is Holly’s co-worker who is a coward and a weasel sporting the exact same look and tried to make a deal with the terrorists.
“it’s a rolex!”
EXACTLY

That guy looks like he was teased mercilessly in high school. Or should have been.
He should have been given atomic wedgies. He should be given one now.
One is flying off a building and the other thinks he’s Superman?
Hans is an ideologue, not sure if he actually believes the filth that passes over his tongue or, if he does, he is a sociopath at best, psychopath at worst.
He has swallowed the WEF koolaid and believes that if he continues to be a water-boy for them, splashing his Klaus Schwabb fertilizer everywhere he will become one of the Elites. He will be flushed down the Turdhole faster than you can say Jeffrey Epstien. He is proven to be a useful idiot, loathed by the real Elites, scorned by the common folk. He will get his reward either way.
The West should just ignore any stupidity that comes out of that green fascist. IGNORE HIM. Ensure that the power stays on….all the time. If that means natural gas or even coal, then make it so. IGNORE HIM.
I was reading an article a few days ago and it described what’s happening between Ottawa vs Ab/Sask as “soft secession”. Basically, the two western prairie provinces are charting their own destiny and telling Ottawa to F-off. They are doing what they need to do to protect their provinces and citizens. Alberta Sovereignty Act, Sask First Act, using the notwithstanding clause, saskenegy removing the federal carbon tax, saying no to curbing natgas power plants, etc. Soft Secession or quiet secession or incremental seccesssion.
I’ve always maintained that every province needs to review every piece of federal legislation to determine the negative vs positive impacts on their province. If there are more negative than positive, use the notwithstanding clause. In these situations, we all need to follow Quebec’s lead.
I agree. The notwithstanding clause is limited because it only can be used in certain parts of the constitution. In other areas, provinces will have to be more creative like using the legislative acts mentioned above. Even more creative was the Sask government’s legislation pertaining to federal firearm confiscation. They created an impenetrable maze of bureaucratic hoops to be able to confiscate any firearms from Sask gun owners.
“In other areas, provinces will have to be more creative…”
Bingo, LC! But cowards like turdo’s pal Blubber Douggie would rather spend their time digging up excuses for inactivity rather than being creative and taking action.
Guilbeault is a psychopathic freak. He acts just like any woman beater. He’ll do everything he can to abuse and punish everyone west of Montreal, then tell us it’s our fault for leaving and in his words “destroying the country”
Hans Gruber ought to read this:
https://www.climatedepot.com/2024/01/11/new-study-finds-no-evidence-of-a-co2-driven-warming-signal-in-60-years-of-ir-flux-data/
But he won’t.
A disgusting little weasel, after theTurd and Freeland, this guy comes 3rd in the Libranos lineup.
Btw eco-Marxists are exactly like all the Marxists in history: hell-bent in shoving down our throats their ideology, their rules. And if you oppose/don’t agree, they try to squash you like a bug while bleating that you’re a hater/far-right extremist.
Guiboh. If it walks like a skunk, and it looks like a skunk, and if it smells …..
Franz Kafka in his book The Trial spoke about government bureaucrats the likes of Steven Guileault “They’re talking about things of which they don’t have the slightest understanding… it’s only because of their stupidity that they’re able to be so sure of themselves.”
The Gruber role just wanted to make money and if people died, oh well.
Steven just wants people to die and if he makes money doing it, ok.
Especially westerners.
If you don’t think this sawed-off peckerwood is an existential threat to you and your family, town, city and province, then you’re a fcking idiot.
While maybe a wee bit more eloquently, that’s what needs to be repeated.
“He wants us to freeze to death.” would work I guess.
Take Climate Barbie’s drunk-in-Newfoundland advice and say it loudly over and over again.
