  1. I drove by the massive solar farm along 52nd Street SE Calgary yesterday. Every panel covered in snow.

    1. John did it look like GLO-BULL WARMING / Climate Crisis snow or just regular old Alberta Grade A snow ?
      SARC

      1. It was the “children won’t know what snow is” snow. Minus 35 right now in Calgary.
        Oh, what’s that sound?!
It’s just my natural gas furnace kicking in reminding me it’s the only thing keeping me from freezing to death.

And that the carbon tax is adding up every time it comes on.

  2. Thanks Brian for this information! I’ve mentioned before the facts relayed to me in Germany about both Solar and Wind generated power being a failure!!! Your facts are proving the same thing!

As Dr.Hayden use to say if you don’t Learn from History—–You will die from IT !

    1. That’s a big reason why I keep writing these stories. People need to know what’s going on. They need to realize it’s not going away. And it keeps repeating.

  3. Same conundrum of we have hundreds of homes to build but unfortunately, we need half a billion dollars in development fees for infrastructure like sewer and water… that takes years of approvals…
Politicians, you gotta love the stupidity of they’re mentality.. but we need to increase your taxes as our electric bus fleets need to be paid for.

  4. In 2013 the headline read “Strong environmental laws would have secured Keystone, Trudeau tells oil leaders”.

“Mr. Trudeau said the pipeline – …would have already been given the green light if Canada had stronger, more cohesive environmental policies, including tougher penalties for polluters and a means for pricing carbon.”

When Trudeau got elected he proved this was a lie. He talked to Obama and the very next day Barack announced he was canceling Keystone.

PS Notice how the Globe inserted “his remarks were focused not on the continuing Senate scandal but on his championing of the controversial pipeline”. None of Trudeau’s scandals were ever “continuing” because the media never let them.

    1. And the lies have been repeated and strengthened every single day since Justine was elected.

  5. Today in Alberta they issued a warning there could be rotating power disruptions caused by the cold.

How long does this crap need to go on before the situation is fixed? Record high power bills and the constant threat of disruption. If disruption becomes reality the UPC government will be run outa town.

  6. -33 C in Calgary Friday evening.

    Guilbeault Solar generation = 0
Notley Wind generation = 12/4481, or 0.3% of capacity.
    Trudeau Energy storage = 0

    1. -34 in Calgary SE this morning Joe. The solar farm on 52nd Street not too far away is covered in snow.
