How Do You Ask A Man To Be The Last Woman To Die For A Post-National State?

Blacklocks: The Royal Canadian Air Force faces a “personnel crisis” with fewer volunteers joining and more veterans leaving the service, says a federal report. It follows a 35 percent decline in military recruitment across the board last year: “The RCAF is experiencing a personnel crisis.”

  1. The military is Just one of three legitimate functions of government now demoralized, abandoned, and corroded along with the thousands of illegitimate functions, bursting at the seams with new hires that currently exists as a politically weaponized, culturally and fiscally bankrupt state under the worst excuse of leadership to ever be elected.

  2. There are many reasons why young men would not wish to join the air force, one which I witnessed back in 1990’s was discrimatory promotion of female cadets (despite ability) for the prized summer flying school positions and promotions of females ahead of more qualified males. I can only assume this has got worse with time.

  3. When I was young and just out of college I visited a Canadian forces recruiting station a couple of times. The amount of contempt the recruiting officers showed towards me was enough to discourage pursuing it further. This was in the 80s.

Being a fit young white male was obviously not what they wanted. One can only assume my type are even less desirable now.

    1. This means they won. Our civilization will be overrun by the barbarians, from within and without.

And I am just fine with that. I tried to support civic virtues and do the right things all my life. Our elite betters had other ideas. They won the battle of ideas. We will all have to live with these consequences, but I am old, and not long for this world.

      1. From what I have seen we are already overrun. I like you will not have to put up with the insanity much longer.

    2. There are probably thousands of young men from a certain religion who are eager to learn how to fly airplanes. Learning how to land them however not so much.

  4. Fine, let them fight their own damned wars. Let them leave you out of it.

If they try to draft you, simply use the wrong pronouns at them, and be a racist, a transphobe, a misogynist and all round ###hole. They’ll have to discharge you because you “don’t fit in with the new vision and the new realities of the Canadian forces”.

  5. Getting men to wear high heels in the battlespace is a non-starter.

    1. Te RCAF is re-writing its history to try & find more diverse heroes in our history. In doing so, it is ditching some white males. Starting, for example, with Canadians who served in the RAF, but not the RCAF. No big deal? Buerling almost got the chop; the only thing that saved him was the fact he did a short term in the RCAF. Who is Buerling? Just Canada’s highest-scoring ace of WW2.

  6. Same in Australia. So they want to make us sitting ducks for the Chinese? I don’t think they’ve thought this through.

    1. I figure that China is never going to want to actually invade North America, just based on geography. They just want to weaken and neutralize the countries that could stop them from doing things like invading Taiwan.

However Australia, being a large country with relatively few people and a lot of natural resources when China is a country with too many people and dwindling natural resources, should be more worried.

  7. Anybody remember two RCAF Captains who died when their Chinook crashed in the Ottawa river two months ago?
    Yeah, me neither.
Brother reached RCAF Captain after 10 years in the force. Not bilingual so ceiling hit, so he quit.
I won’t stand for the National Anthem so I wouldn’t ask anyone to consider joining the service.
To borrow from Dr. Saad, the gender stuff is certainly part of it, more so that today’s young adults do not hold a deontological ethic.

    1. My brother retired as a Major….same thing with him. He served a stint at DND HQ in Ottawa. He absolutely hated it. I asked him what Majors do at DND HQ….he said they walk briskly with their “look busy kit”….and when they aren’t doing that, they are making coffee.

  8. Have no fear. The CF has a Chief Professional Conduct and Culture to “unify and integrate all associated culture change activities across the Department of National Defence (DND) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).” She is 3 star. As a reminder the chief of the RCAF, Canadian Army and Navy are 3 stars. Gives you an idea what the priorities are at DND. You don’t have to wonder too much what culture change activities consist of; with this PM, what else could it be? The Associate ADM is also female, previously at Indigenous Services Canada. One of their tasks is “simplifying and enhancing misconduct reporting mechanisms, including for those external to the chain of command”. Does that sound like a Komissar? So they may be short on personnel across the board, but setting up a 3 star system for culture change is seen as a good idea on how to use them. And setting up Komissar offices across the Forces. The CDS is worried about Operational Readiness – and he should be- but DND’s focus is obviously elsewhere. But then again, what does it matter? Canada is now a post-National state with open borders whose policies are driven by Globalist. What’s the role of an Armed Forces for such a state? Let’s just buy gear and ship it off to whomever is fighting “NATO”‘s proxy wars.

  9. “This has all happened before and will happen again.” “There is nothing new under the sun”.

In the waning days of the Roman Empire, they were unable to recruit soldiers, so they only had two legions. Those were used to protect their new capital, which was not Rome, but a city hidden behind swamps where two legions were enough to protect it.

The emperor in that city was Biden-like. He did not believe the news when they told him Rome had been sacked. He said “no, Rome is fine”. He had a pet pig named Rome. This has all happened before.

Oh, and the people who sacked Rome were Goths. Goths showed up at the border and asked for sanctuary, “refugee” status, “migrant” status, “immigrant” status, from the Huns. The empire had also recruited Goths into their army, since no Romans wanted to be in the army. 40 years after this “immigration”, the Goths sacked Rome. The one who did it was one of those who had been in the Roman army.

The natural thing for our glorious leaders to do now is to accept immigrants, and draft them into the army. You know, like the Goths, and the Egyptian Mamluks, who took over Egypt. and the similar group who took over Turkey. People keep making the same mistakes over and over.

  10. The cover story on yesterday’s Comox Valley Record was a corporal in uniform in the Pride Parade. And they are court-martialing James Topp for conduct “predjudicial to good order and discipline’! We are lost and it’s not the Air Force I devoted most of my life to.

  11. My brother joined the RCAF in the early 1960’s. It was an airforce then. The Golden Hawks in their CF-86 Sabres all around the country. Put on a show every night during Stampede and MAN could those guys fly. Then it started downhill with the Liberals when Paul Hellyer was Minister of Defense….it quickly deteriorated.

We “learned” of Canada’s “soft power” (whatever the hell that is). My brother was in the recruiting centre sphere and told me about a meeting they were all called to in Ottawa. They were told that French applicants would take all the same tests as English applicants, but the pass mark for Francophones was lower than for Anglos. When asked why, they were told “cultural differences….that’s all you need to know:,

The “Armed” Forces are now a joke and haven’t been combat ready for decades.
