  1. “IT’S THE LAW!”
Temporary female washrooms on construction sites…so says our Ontario politicians…
Fine your ass outa business for a multitude of infractions that you may not be aware of…bird season nests?
Too high a humidity in forestry is fine your ass too…

    1. About fifteen years ago I heard that the local county government wanted pine/spruce plantations thinned but were having trouble getting anyone to take on the job. My skidder was sitting idle at that time so I decided to look into it.

The contract application contained a multi-page document listing dozens of pre-requisites; one of the first ones was an approved steam-cleaning and subsequent inspection of all equipment before entering the site and again prior to leaving. Most of the other items were just as ridiculous.

A few years ago I drove by that “county forest “. It had never been thinned.

The county did a few days construction work by my place. A couple days before a one holer showed up and a few days later it went away. Eons ago I worked pipeline and other assorted in the bush labour. We didn’t have a crapper and we figured it out.

    1. This mandatory eco nonsense keeps driving up the cost of homes … and who gets blamed? The builders and developers. Capitalism and ewwwwww … PROFITS are blamed. Stop loading up every project with unaffordable regulations.

  2. Disappointed, I was totally expecting our great leader to win the Babylon Bee actor of the year award. We need a Canadian version. There are so many deserving people in this country.

  3. RE: Biden loves ducks.
Funny how the indigenous are more than happy to pave over the wetlands to build a road to an airport or run a pipe full of clean water to their homes, but all other construction seems to destroy their traditional way of life.

  4. Just wondering how much Trudeau and his entourage will be billing us for their attendance at the coronation of King Charles May 6. Remember, they billed us $398k for the Queen’s funeral, including a $6k per night mystery room. How much of the bill will be redacted? Ho hum; more of the same…

    1. Send the governor general, alone, everyone else can pay their own way if they want to attend.
