  1. If Business Decisions dictate the talking head on display what does it control related to content? If only there was an alternative to Corporate Media and their “Business Decision” approach to news.

      She does not write the news… she reads it. The colour
      of her hair has no impact on this one function.

      So, really… the job can be done by anyone with a grade

        Edit: thinking about it, they could do an experiment where an anchor reads teh news, and a cartoon character reads the news, and see which one gets better ratings.

        My bet would be on the cartoon character

        Pretty much what a commenter on the CBC website said last week, said she was “the right gender but the wrong flavour”.

        (meaning ‘color’…we have to speak in code so the CBC doesn’t disable our comments)

        I responded by saying something about needing to be one of the “other genders”, was given the boot couple of minutes later and handed a 30 day suspension for “Hate Speech”.

        Maybe it was a few other posts I had previously about having no sympathy for someone who knew about this months ago but came out just now saying she was “blindsided”, who was offered a chance for a proper sendoff (and refused) and offered another position with the organization (also refused). I also pointed out that she was *not* a “journalist” (she was a teleprompter reader) and she *was* a partisan left-winger who injected her own personal and political opinions wherever she saw fit. The vast majority of commenters seemed to be under the impression (as LaFlamme herself is) that she was let go because of her age and because she was a woman…and they said so WITH NO PROOF (words that Lisa herself would reportedly always inject into any mention of the 2020 US election).

        Doesn’t matter. I haven’t actually watched *any* MSM nightly news in over 20 years, ever since my habit of reading 2-4 newspapers per day enlightened me to the fact that said news was only giving me ONE SIDE of any reported story (the left-wing side). Haven’t looked back.

    I agree with the above comment, a cartoon character could do this job. No sick days, no paycheque, and the gullible sheeple of Canuckistan would still believe the script

  12. Poor dears. With subscribers cutting their cable and satellite dishes in favour of streaming what we’re witnessing is the death wheeze of the buggy whip manufacturers. Framing her as some sort of Edward R. Murrow is the funniest of all takes.
    And if you bought into the lie that LaFlamme was let go because of her grey hair, age, etc…look to her replacement for the real truth.
    Pro tip: He ain’t Scottish.

  20. She was a young hottie last time I saw her. The gray hair kinda shocked me. 90s maybe? Donna Frieaen too. I remember thinking she was kinda cute back then. I’m sure they musta been the best of the best sir down at the CTV sluice.

    1. I ran into Donna Friesen at a Rona. She was in the garden section. I got a creepy vibe from her right away. I wasn’t really sure who she was at first and when you get up close to her you notice that she has a weird mouth with what seems like an endless amount of teeth… she looks like she eats mice. She is not pretty in the least.

      Total entitled ass clown was my observation.. She interrupted a Rona worker talking to another customer like the customer wasn’t even there, entitled bitch from what I could tell and not very smart. Very short and dumpy.

      The mice eating is a real turnoff.

      She’s also married to Liberal Party grifter Rick Anderson, the guy that used to spy on the Reform Party from inside Preston Mannings office.
