Wynneing!

What explains the Ontario Liberal government’s $7 billion Climate Change Action Plan, which will infringe on people’s freedom, impose debilitating costs, set impossible targets and fail to produce meaningful reductions in GHG emissions? The only answer can be ideological fervour, divorced from economic or practical reality.

Stupid voters aided and abetted by an equally ideological media? Just a guess.
But wait – there’s more!

  1. It’s a good thing for the Ontario political class and institutional left that cattle don’t have what it takes to revolt against their herders, even when being driven over the cliff. Free stuff destroys the soul and “free” (public) education destroys the mind.

  2. I was born in Queerbec but have been in Ontaxio since 1995.
This Province is almost as dumbass backwards, granola munching, Left wing stupid (They don’t even know what “Left” means kind of stupid)as la “bete” Province is right now.
Ever since McGuinty/Wynne it’s been really free falling though. Ontario’s decimation of it’s once massive industrial base is a prime example of what the Globalists have done to North America’s middle class blue collar workers.
The rise of a Trump figure here in Canada might be sooner than we think…I only can hope.
    Kevin O’Leary?

  3. Something’s gotta give in Wynnetario besides the working taxpayers at all levels.

  4. And standing in for the Opposition, is Paddy “Tiger” Brown…who has been missing in action since he assumed the leadership of the Ontario PCs back in May 2015.
By supporting “carbon pricing”, this dickhead has effectively nutted himself when it comes to making any noise against the Liberals’ crooked “Climate Action” schemes.
The sad-sack PC Party is just as responsible for this ******g mess as the Liberals, the NDP, and dumb ******g voters.

  5. Kevin O’Leary? Perish the thought! Turn back the clock some 30 years and O’Leary would be Bryan Mulroney.

  6. And how are they going to finance their schemes ? Why with an Ontario pension plan on top of the federal one. They will collect billions of dollars of 2016 dollars and pay it out with 2025 dollars when it will take $1000 to buy a postage stamp, and more the next day. Welcome to Venezuela north.

  7. 69% of China’s electricity is coal generated.
Ontario’s manufacturers have to compete with Chinese factories powered that cheap but dirty electricity.
So now more factories in Ontario close down and more production is moved to the dirty coal powered factories in China.
And the raw materials are shipped there and the finished products shipped back in fossil fuel powered ships.
How does that help the environment in any way?

  8. Ontario’s financial problems summarised: Sodomites can’t do biology, nor math either, apparently.

  9. I’ve been getting the full Ontario experience for the past 7 weeks. Helping out a buddy. 3 weeks to go.
There seems to be a vigorous small business sector. None of them are liberals. Juxtaposed is the public sector. It is everywhere. You can’t make a move without running into the bureaucracy. It is ubiquitous. Attitude at the liquor store – if you can find one. Kids selling AGW on tv – on government paid for ads.
It’s quite an experience for an old cowboy.
Glad I still live in AB.

They’re stealing the money, duh. $17 BILLION dollars in excess electricity bills went… where? To the windmill companies. Who owns those? Friends of the Liberals.
    This stuff isn’t difficult.
By the way, scuttlebutt has it that there are five or six billionaires on the Six Nations reserve. That’s billion with a “B”, not million. Anybody want to guess how that happened?

  11. Maybe they found a way to steal the election too–at least if that’s the case, we don’t have to think of all our neighbours as mentally-deficient voters. It’s more comforting to think that election was a fraud.

  12. From what I have read about Brown, you are right. There seems to be immediate hope for deliverance.
Wynne is bound and determined to totally destroy Ontario’s economy and send it back to the stone age.

That’s basically it. Mike Crawley – ex OLP President will be a wind tycoon billionaire by the time these contracts expire. I hope he faces justice someday. McGuinty is a fool who was promised his cut once his term was done. No honor amongst thieves, I think they left him out hence his need to become a 2 bit lobbyist at Queen’s Park.

  14. We all know SDA Gets Results. You can help us here in Alberta avoid a similar fate as Ontario’s by voting NO to another Olympics in Calgary.

Progressive Mayor Nenshi is still looking for a lasting legacy. It took 30 years to pay off Jean Drapeau’s Olympics – the Big Owe! ‘The Montreal Olympics can no more have a deficit, than a man can have a baby.’ Jean Drapeau.

“Invest internationally if embezzlement is your strong suit.
Government tax departments in at least two different countries are even less
interested and capable than one of trying to figure out what your are up to.” ?
