1. Why “bizarre”? The photos show Hitler polishing his presentation skills, no more, no less. Scarcely unusual behaviour for a man who was known to be a very theatrical speaker.
   And, yes, I know the “bizarre” does not come from Kate.

2. What’s bizarre about them? Hitler was a competent demagogue, and it is hardly surprising that he rehearsed his gestures as well as his words.

3. I’ve seen those photos before. They’re Hitler practicing gesticulation in preparation for his speeches. Churchill did the same thing. Most good debaters do this in front of a mirror to be able to make their points more effectively.
