“Harumph!”, croaked the dinosaurs.

As Belfast erupted into flames last night amid violent protests over the ISIS-like attempted beheading attack on a local by a Sudanese migrant, politicians south of the Irish border took to television screens to attempt an explanation – and a remedy – to the problems that caused the disorder.

“It sort of beggars belief that a video of that nature was allowed to be circulated for hours and hours”, declared Mary Regan, political editor of the country’s largest newspaper by circulation, the Irish Independent.

The video in question was, of course, mobile phone footage of the attack. In the hours after the incident, the Irish media’s first reaction was to play down the incident, describing it variously as a “stabbing incident” or a “knife attack”. Even as official channels were parroting that line, hundreds of thousands of Irish people, as well as countless millions around the world, were watching the uncensored truth on their phones and on their computer screens. There was no mistaking what they saw. […]

Three years ago in Dublin, police arrested an Algerian man – who has gone on trial this week – after a stabbing attack on children at a north Dublin primary school. There was no video of the actual incident, but details of it spread widely on social media despite a similar campaign of media suppression in which only the most sanitized details were shared by the major outlets.

That night, as in Belfast last evening, widespread public disorder broke out as the public took to the streets to violently express their dissatisfaction with an immigration policy that very often appears to treat the safety of the host population with reckless disregard. Then, as now, politicians deployed the same playbook: the incident was not the problem; the problem was that people found out about the incident.

At the time, this reporter was widely criticized for publishing details about the incident – including the nationality of the attacker – by fellow journalists, on the grounds that telling the public what had happened in their own country was contrary to the ethics of responsible journalism.

Then, as now, the perversity of modern media thinking was exposed: for many journalists in traditional outlets – influenced, one might argue, by taxpayer subsidies – the point of journalism is not to report stories, but to suppress them. As the American satirical blogger Iowahawk once noted: “Journalism is about covering important stories. With a pillow, until they stop moving.”

  1. But whats going to happen in the end?
    Nothing.
    Nothing will change.
As discussed yesterday, the ivory tower people and their propagandaists need to go.
While I’m not advocating (the proles can’t vote them away) it’s pretty obvious things are getting to revolutionary status.
Western elites/globalists have a replacement pogrom (not program) running and no election, no politician, no promise is going to change it.

In Ireland, and elsewhere, we’ll know when something is up when the cops and the military stand down.

    1. remember phillipines? marcos tried to steal the election, told HIS military ‘SHOOT ZEM SHOOT ZEM HALL. HIMMEL ZEIN!!! ACTCHUNG !!! well they didnt. his military commanders were like, ummmm, nah l aint gonna gun down my cousin’s family, turned around and SIDED WITH THE PROTESTERS.
same thing romania ceaucescu when the time came, mmmmm, nah, not this tyme nick.
you are right, change will ONLY happen if the cops and military have ‘had enough’

    2. “Nothing will change.”
      Yes it will.
Brit retired Colonel Richard Kemp predicts there will be a civil war in UK and it is inevitable given the Government’s positions. He predicts it will look a lot like “the Troubles” in Ulster not the US civil war.

  2. cameras everywhere now.
    billions of them.
catching things like a meteorite smacking a blokes patio to cliffs caving in that only happen at that spot every 500 years, and animals engaging in the most delightful things and shocking.
and stabby beheadings also seen *by* millions. what are they going to do? disable them?
these filthy manipulative bastards, they will if they can.
meanwhile remember COPS ARE NOT AND NEVER WILL BE AGAIN YOUR ‘FRIEND’
they are the gestapo ‘enforcers’ of thr status quo. always good if one is shot to death.

    1. and take special note because it is DIGITAL there is NO degradation of the image after the 50th generation copy. that one is an *exact* duplicate of the original.
also lm 1/4 lrish on my dad’s side, my paternal grandmother. never been to lreland but BY GAWD lm proud of my brothers and sisters there. if l *was* there l wd be slashing fire truck tires so they cdnt get to the migrant apartment building let them BURN

    2. I find it ironic that ‘the information age’ has been so quickly replaced (sorry) by the ‘disinformation age’.

To quote an old movie … “you can’t handle the truth!”

    1. Well … I have to admit … the Jews have been funding the SPLC … so they can identify more white supremacist anti-semites.

  3. There has long been reports of people not wanting these sorts of “new citizens” permitted into nations, and they were told the new citizens are vetted, and that all was well, and those who protest against this are wrong in their opinions, and we need to be corrected while not asking if this is what we actually wanted.

President John F. Kennedy, of whom I do not count myself as a great supporter had said in 1963, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable”.

So what remains for those who’ve been ignored by the gov’t, but to voice their concerns in the streets, to shout from rooftops, or to state plainly in social media, “tell me how you really feel” and when we do tell them, we’re blamed for fanning, for stoking hatred, for “wrong-speak”.

Tommy Robinson on X has posted a photo of “Hadi Alodid” the Sudanese man at the center of this latest UK outrage, as well as his victim laying in the hospital Stephen Ogilvie with his Celtic football club tattoo, who is now said to have been helping these people settle into their new households, a man with limited hearing, now with 1/2 his eyesight stolen from him and possibly damage in his remaining eye while the BBC says he’s “lost one eye” … I doubt “lost” is an accurate description of what has happened here.

It isn’t only the UK, It’s everywhere these people were permitted to be drop shipped into of the first world countries, Poland and Hungary being notable exceptions, and the garbage gov’t of Canada can’t stand that you’re still talking about it… registration of your adult status is coming to Canada via the back door of preventing children from being harmed online. Well you don’t want children to see how sausage is made! You’ll have to prove who you are to the same people who wanted “the best banking system in the world” to freeze your account.

    1. People in Northern Ireland aren’t “voicing their concern” they are expressing outrage at the government for killing off what used to be their homeland.

More power to them and may the outrage spread and gain momentum.

      1. I think those in Northern Ireland were outraged at the 3500 dead and 47,000 injured when The Troubles ended in 1998.
Perhaps after 1 day and horrific injuries to one innocent man, it’s right that some are voicing their concern, perhaps this concern will gain traction in other jurisdictions where the gov’t has imposed their will, while nobody recalls a majority asking for millions more to join them.

        1. The Troubles didn’t kill off their homeland, it continued until the invaders were invited in.

Do you even understand the difference.

          1. I’m uncertain as to what you mean by “even” in the “Do you even understand the difference”

The BBC has since downgraded these events to “unrest” and “disorder” which may be only a point above a kerfuffle. I doubt these outbursts of opinions in the streets of Belfast, have legs.

        2. Lupus solus, agree with “more’s the pity”
The UK has had 1000’s of their children repeatedly raped, assaulted, abused, most by a defined ethno and religious group. Some of the culprits went to jail, but there are 1000’s who didn’t, many innocent parents who couldn’t gain a toehold onto having anything done at all. Marches in the streets, protests, writing to the MP or councillors, pleading with police, and often times the police and media blamed the children, and blamed the parents for resorting to simply being angry.

It’s going to take much more to move the argument into the streets in such a way as to become a lasting movement. The UK just doesn’t do revolutions at home. I fear by then it’ll be too late, but they’ve been down and out and returned victorious before.

  4. Western governments and institutions have created this problem by failing to fulfill their roles in a constitutional republic/democracy. Politicians have failed to govern in accordance with the consent of the citizens. Police and the legal system no longer enforce the law equally and fairly. The media have failed to hold those in power to account or report the news honestly. The result?

Chaos and vigilantism on the streets. A deep distrust and growing resentment of governments, the chattering class and institutions. What did these people think would happen? History has provided the answer to this question repeatedly.

Good luck putting this genie back in the bottle.

  5. Police chief urges demonstrators to remain peaceful, the day before protests even begin;
… an inkling of complicity in his state sanctioned eradication of muslim infidels

After converting Irish Christians to infidels then to marxists, they’re all muslim infidels
… the crocodile is in sight, as is optimism in Ireland as We The People begin to say no

  6. On July 30, 2008 in a Greyhound bus near Winnipeg, Vince Li sawed off Tim McLean’s head and ate some of his flesh. He was found not guilty because of his schizophrenic psychosis, treated in an asylum for a few years and released under a new name in 2017. He may have returned to China.
We could have done better for Tim McLean.

  7. The state media is not doing a very good job of crafting the narrative.

I sure hope none of this is getting back to the arch fiend Putin. Europe needs to be strong right now to resist Russian aggression

    1. A government-supported journalist is nothing more than an whiny incompetent whore.

    2. fb
“Europe needs to be strong right now to resist Russian aggression”
Hahahahahahaha, just how stupid are you?????

  8. “It sort of beggars belief that a video of that nature was allowed to be circulated for hours and hours”, declared Mary Regan, political editor of the country’s largest newspaper by circulation, the Irish Independent.

How dare the unwashed circulate information!

    1. “(The State) insists, in other words, that the thing which is not happening must never be seen.”

  9. Free and transparent information sharing is fundamental in a democracy. Unfortunately, our so called democracy does not live up to that in any way whatsoever.

However, regardless of this, there is no excuse for rioting, burning, and attacking innocent people.
Instead, the anger should be directed at politicians, police leadership, and courts & judges who have created this mess in the first place.

    1. The politicians, police and judges are armed or have armed protection. A critical mass has to be reached before an unarmed citizenry takes them on.

Better yet, as Buddy mentioned above the police and the armed forces need to stand down.

    2. At this point, imo, the only way for governments to stop this is to immediately respond to the concerns of the citizens. A moratorium on immigration plus vetting and deporting immigrants who shouldn’t be in the uk, getting the consent of residents for immigrant housing in their communities, an end to generous taxpayer funding of immigrants, and reforming/restoring the police and legal system.

If the government continues to ignore citizen’s concerns or, worse, uses extreme force against citizens…then I think the situation will get much worse. More innocent people will be harmed and the government should be held accountable for the resulting chaos.

        1. F*ck that. It’s long past the stage where peacefully will have a meanful impact.

          1. I may be wrong, but I believe Johan was being sarcastic, as in the “mostly peaceful” George Floyd riots.

    3. johan
The VOTERS created the problem by not getting informed, staying ignorant like you are!

      1. GYM is moonlighting as a cum dumpster at Indo-festivals and Islamic cultural centres across Canada. Gobble them all up my greedy old fellow.

  10. the point of journalism is not to report stories, but to suppress them

That’s the way it seems at times.

  11. Kind of reminds me a bit of Rwanda…..looks peaceful enough on the surface, but what burns slowly below like a root fire.

  12. Sudanese immigrant.

I’m reminded of Robert’s posting of a highly articulate, well reasoned, Brit opining about all the troubles befalling Britain … but … this man had a gaping blind spot as he blamed all of the UK’s ills on Middle East Wars at the behest of Israel and US hegemony. He blamed the immigrant invasion ALL on the ME wars.

As I mentioned, he failed to mention the invasion coming from Africa and the Caribbean. Well, I hate to be proven correct in such a heinous manner … but Sudan is in Africa. And last I checked … the neither the Joos, nor the BadORANGEman is at war with Sudan.

However, the “crass” “unpresidential” BadOrangeMan HAS correctly said that mass immigration of unvetted randoms is flooding our Western nations with violent criminals and the criminally insane. It’s not JUST Islamic insanity … it’s third world incompatibility.

  13. It sort of beggars belief that a video of that nature was allowed to be circulated for hours and hours.
It buggers faith in government that such people have been let into the country for years and years.
The Irish Independent, written by and for The Irish Idiot.
The video played for hours because Mary has lost control of the narrative. In Ireland, that’s saying something.
