Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Re: Shamed Canada over slavery:

Liberals just can’t handle that slavery was never a thing in Canada. Our farmers were close to subsistence farmers who couldn’t afford slaves. The slaves that came from the US were mostly freed within 10 years in Canada and a bit later in Nova Scotia. However slavery was common in the indigenous population, even well toward the end of the 19th century on the west coast.
Past Canadian slavery?
I bet there are more slaves in the country now than ever.
The First Nations had a long history of slavery.
Wonder if that shows up in their oral histories…
The Harvest of Ignorance.
That the anti-Trump folks on the far left are praying for an American loss at the hands of Iran is unsurprising. These are the same people spending every waking moment fighting on the streets and in the courts to prevent the deportation of illegal alien criminals.
They’re comprehending something dire but don’t know what it is,
vaguely aware of a threat to their elite marxism (established by Barak O’Rama)
which they assumed was here to stay, and with the help of China
to become a rich illiterate government worker,
with no children to spoil it.
ACLU with Bruce Springsteen in overdrive pushing for birthright citizenship for illegals. Their disgusting “Born in USA” ads keep popping up making me want to hurl.
Aspiring to be exactly like now-fallen Europe is the evidence of their utter and complete ignorance.
Yes, let’s make them all citizens.

nice, keep the Gospel simple.
When I find myself on Golgotha, I hope I have the presence of mind to say, “Dismas be the place!”
Leftism is a disease of the soul.

One of the kids favorite car songs was “the song that never ends”. In real life, the government has projects that never end: meet Province House, PEI, Canada https://parks.canada.ca/lhn-nhs/pe/provincehouse
After 11 years a restoration of a tiny colonial building has no end in sight, but they promise to keep us updated.
Compare, Egyptian pyramids 15 to 30 years, Empire State Building, under 2 years, CPR across Canada, c 11 years, Eiffel Tower, slightly over 2 yrs, CN Tower Toronto slightly more than 3 years, Golden Gate Bridge 4 and a half yrs, Apollo moon landing, 8 yrs after program start. Of course restoring a building isn’t easy like rocket science.
