  1. Two comments – first with respect to cousin marriages. People in Europe have known the bad effects of cousin marriages (also known as incest)since the Anglo-Saxon period. At best, you could expect a lot of cleft palates and hare-lips and at worst, full-blown idiocy. A classic example is that of the Habsburg family that ruled the Holy Roman Empire and moved into the Spanish Royal Family. By the early 1700’s, the King of Spain was a full-blown idiot who was a puppet king.
    As a 74 year old white woman, I have not watched the Oscars or Hollywood movies in general for the last 10 years. I loved the Oscars in the 70’s, 80’s and even the 90’s – the Red Carpet, the movies, the presentations for Best Song, but by the end of the 90’s, they were already becoming tedious (especially the length).

  2. I admit my fascination at the complete dearth of stories here at SDA re: Epic Fury in Iran. It’s almost as if the elimination of the Iranian Theocracy is … uncomfortable or something. Perhaps this is such an overwhelmingly successful … with minuscule harm to American servicemen… operation by the USA … by the Orangebadman … that it cannot be spoken about. Perhaps it’s just OVER? It started. It was finished in two weeks … so there’s nothing to report? Perhaps the Joos were involved … so anything positive about Israel has to be hushed up?

    War, err military excursions are uncomfortable things. No one wants them. And, evidently, no one wants to speak of them … unless the USA is on the losing end. Unless Trump is on the losing end.

    1. On Canada’s side, there really is nothing different to report or comment on.

      Max Carnival is making headlines talking deals with other “mid level” countries to protect the North, aligning with Britain to not interfere (participate in guarding the Straights). Taking vacation while visiting other countries to build the “mid level” power. Offering oil reserves we don’t have. Hiding that Canadian bases in the middle east were attacked.

      I’m watching the government contract sites to see when the C$1B request for elbow pads comes up. Hopefully with built in warmers so our soldiers don’t get frostbite again.

      Basically Carnage is doing Carnage, building his business empire buddies (and his) bank accounts.

      Nothing new to report.
