What are we supposed to think when official government statements contain obvious disinformation or, as it used to be known, lies?
If the government put out information, it would take little effort and require few people.
But it doesn’t, and it rarely has. Disinfo is what governments do. And managing narratives.
When they purposely create inflation by printing money at Bank of Canada, they lie about the cause and scale of that inflation.
When they purposely bring in millions of low/no skill 3rd world immigrants and their families, and plan to continue to do so until our population is ~100,000,000 of primarily East Indians, they tell us that “we” have a housing crisis and need to spend more of OUR money to build more houses. As well as schools. And hospitals.
When they play their role in the Coronahoax fiction, they lie that many people are infected.
When people get poisoned with the vaccines for the fictional threat, they lie that the only injuries are amongst those who didn’t get poisoned.
They lie that there’ll be money in the CPP for future generations.
They lie about the state of the economy.
They lie about unemployment numbers.
They lie about the size of the support for Alberta independence.
They lie about the numbers supporting DEI, ESG, LBGTQXYZ, trans freaks, MAID, the moronic, anti-scientific lie of global warming, etc.
It’s all they do. Disinfo is key to the continued rule of the citizenry by those behind the curtain.

I read Clinton’s article, but I think he missed the forest for the trees. The stuff he talks about is a series of political releases to support the liberal government’s political goals, and as such inherits all the credibility of political speech i.e. none.
The real money is in places like stats can and the cdn health info institute. Statscan Data suffers from what I think of as “flunky on the left syndrome “– because the source data often depends on information provided by mid and small size businesses. Most of them get so many demands for information from government that they delegate the job to the lowest man on the totem pole with the only real criterion being that he not contradict the organization’s tax filings.
As for the CIHI, I would challenge believers to try to develop a contextualized understanding of any major aspect of Canadian healthcare from their data.
And yet major policy and financial decisions are routinely made on the basis of data from these types of government organization – is it any wonder they were wrong so often?

How they are creating jobs, developping industries etc etc. It’s a good way to legally bribe the networks who broadcast it. But what do I think?
