  4. Law enforcement, prosecutors and judges should have dealt with Epstein and the UK gangs crimes as soon as they became aware of the abuse and financial crimes. Instead, the crimes were hidden to protect powerful people (or blackmail them?). By hiding the crimes and aiding in the coverup, the legal system and all others involved became accomplices to those crimes. So now, all those involved in hiding the evidence have to continue the cover up of Epstein and UK gangs to protect themselves from criminal charges.

    This type of crime and the cover up is where asset forfeiture laws could and should be used. I’m betting lots of the rich and powerful people involved in the human trafficking crimes and cover up are also found in the Panama Papers. Break up this international crime syndicate through asset forfeiture.

      2. Yep. I suspect that the rich people involved have used their fortune to buy the silence of the legal system. Taking away their access to money could help stop that from happening again.

        1. ACKTUALLY… It was probably the cheapest option. Have Soros undermine the legal system, for example by getting liberal judges elected by throwing a few millions at the electoral campaigns. Insurance against a whole range of criminality. A person like Letitia James will do it for free on ideological basis, or some cheap bling. Given her own penchant for sexual harassment and other crimes, it’s a scheme that gets cheaper when you can turn around and blackmail THEM. She is also disposable. WHo’s going to miss her if she ever goes to prison?

      2. True. A long sentence in Canada or the UK for kiddy diddling is a year or two unless a repeat offender. It should be more but isn’t. I suspect the red states are similar. I suspect prosecutors took a look at the difficulty of prosecutions compared to eventually penalties and did a pass. A 2 month he said she said trial for a first offender suspended sentence?

  9. From what I’ve seen, there isn’t enough specific stuff on specific American people for anyone to have been able to prosecute serious crimes out of the Files.

    What IS there is, a whole lot of crap that makes a whole lot of rich and powerful people look very bad.

    And so this is now a fun time for the press as they take turns savaging the people on the other side from them, and an uncomfortable time for Epstein’s visitors.

    But not much more than that.
