  1. OMG … The American Spectator just described the obsession … without resolution … of The Epstein “Files”

Media outlets insist they are merely covering a major story with public safety implications, yet thousands of families experience missing-person cases every year without a fraction of this airtime. Most do not get primetime panels of legal analysts parsing doorbell footage frame by frame.

Today’s media ecosystem thrives on spectacle, especially on cable news. The format demands constant content, and a slow-moving investigation offers fertile ground for conjecture.

Thousands of human traffickers trade in underage children each year, but without a fraction (if any) of the airtime devoted to … oohhhhh ewwwww … “the files”. Slow moving fertile ground for conjecture … with mysterious unidentified “victims”.

Cable news executives know that name recognition, tragedy, and uncertainty are the main ingredients of a media product that keeps viewers engaged. As cable news continues to fixate on this open investigation, there is one question Americans should ask: What other stories are obscured by these walls of one-track coverage?

Name recognition, tragedy (?) and uncertainty … sure is keeping a lot of viewers sheepishly focused on “The Epstein Files” … however I must say the Guthrie case is so bloody over the top coverage … that it’s even pushed all those Democrat pals of Epstein off the headlines.

And I predict that the exact same number of actual prosecutions will take place in the Guthrie case as with the “Epstein Files” … None. Nevermind Maxwell’s fake (hidden) trial. Sorry, but Guthrie is buried somewhere in Mexico, never to be seen again, and no culprits will ever be found. Sorry … but that’s the way it looks.

    1. It has come to my attention that you are also focused on the “Epstein Files”. You take every opportunity to bring them up, even when they are irrelevant to a post.

      1. So even when I connect the stories … word-for-word … point-by-point … you call it “irrelevant”. Your compulsive ignorance must be Alzheimer’s … I’m sorry for your condition, as sadly there appears nothing medical science can do for you …

    2. Well, her daughter is a Trump hater on NBC – National Bolshevik Corporation.

The “kidnapped” Mother lives in Tucson a Left Wing Garbage Dump run by Woke Lunatics where every city department and official from Mayor to Dog Catcher is to the Left of Bernie Sanders.

Sorry, I just laugh at her predicament or her own choosing

  2. Savannah had her mother kidnapped, murdered and buried in the desert, having tired of waiting for her inheritance, of the expense of covering her mother’s medical bills, or both.

    Change my mind.

  3. When this was initially in the news I thought it was simply because this is an elderly woman, perhaps her family has more money than is mentioned in the press briefings? and it filled the news with non Epstein news which I’d expect was the media’s medium term goal here…
The comments at The American Spectator are a step up from the normal news commentary, with bits of info not included in the story which make you go “hummm”
    Like this one:
“Because her daughter is a Democrat celebrity, who contacted Arizona Democrat Senator Mark Kelly about her missing mother before calling the police.”
Paging Ted Kennedy? Why did she do this? The speculation in the news doesn’t seem to be adding any new info, just gossip.
    uff
