The more that the Carney speaks at feigning differentiation from the Spawn, the more he arrives at the same policy result and destination. No major pipeline that any private sector proponent would consider entertaining and the EV mandate gone but no ICE vehicles allowed through regulation leaving re-subsidized EVs as the only alternative. Carney is the Spawn with a wider vocabulary and one which only the deranged, the mindless, his taxpayer funded stenographers masquerading as journalists, or masochists can stand to listen to.
It was Marx Carnage running the show behind the scenes. Now there is no buffer.

If called on that, Carney can shrug and say, “Well, I’m sorry, but just because Enbridge *can* build a pipeline doesn’t mean they actually will or even want to, does it? I mean. In *this* economy? And with Venezuela about to flood the market?”

Here’s an idea!? Just stop ALL fossil fuel activities (and hence tax remittances) in Alberta altogether. See how long Ottawa and the Canadian National survives.
This is amusing as hell. Carney’s obvious strategy to keep Alberta on a leash was the MOU. It was a way to put abiguity within the secession movement without coming right out and saying “nothing is going to benefit you.” There would be a looming possibility, but no committment. For a lot of fence sitters in the Alberta, it would have been enough. Stall, leak momentum from the secession movement with vague promises, and hope it was enough to disrupt or deplete any referendum vote.
Enter the IDIOTS. I’m referring to the Liberal Majority in Ottawa. Had they just ignored the situation and sat on their hands, Carney’s strategy just might have worked. BUT, no. They had to vote on the regulatory issue relative to natural resources. February 2026: Liberal MPs voted against a motion aimed at repealing laws blocking resource development, removing the oil and gas emissions cap…
As a result, they inadvertantly sabotaged Carney’s strategy by showing their hand too soon. There is a definite battle going on in the Liberal majority. Which is going to win? Zealotry or Incompetence? It’s a close race.

With the secessionist movement ramping up and Ottawa throwing more fuel on the fire everyday, we are in for some very interesting days here in Alberta.

Why in God’s name would Enbridge invest in Canadian infrastructure when the Trump administration is welcoming every possible expansion of the gas and oil economy with no government hindrance and little to no tolerance for WOKE Whining?
Meanwhile here in CA … PG&E … on orders of the CPUC are “decarbonizing” my neighborhood by eliminating Nat. Gas altogether. And we’ve lost two refineries in SoCAL and NorCAL … and Chevron is hanging on by a thread as they endure constant harassment, exorbitant fines and outrageous settlements with the city of Richmond, CA which they essentially fund completely.
CA is going quickly back to the Dark Ages of windmills and waterfalls. We will own nothing as the Titans of industry flee and be happy with our “green” LGBTQueer-mutant masters … or else.
