  6. This is why Canada subsidizes so many MSM outlets. They are bleeding numbers and credibility daily, due to their incessant role as water carriers for whatever the woke “cause de jour” happens to be. (And for the Liberal party, which is pretty much the same thing.)
    So….the happy taxpayer foots the bill to keep the liberal message coming, even though in the free market of ideas, the MSM is falling flat.
    Pull the funding.
    Let them die.
    Support Canadian Culture!
    Which is (by definition) what Real Canadians are willing to spend their own hard earned dollars to celebrate and consume. It is NOT what a few bureaucrats and elites decide we should be forced to keep on life support, even though it does not interest many Canadians.
    BTW….I don’t want to ban outfits like the CBC. I want them to be free to say whatever they want, within the bounds of the law. I just want those who love the CBC to be the ones to support it.
    If not many Canadians are willing to pony up, let all our papers and TV networks go the way of the WaPo.
