      1. $2.5 billion?? $2,500 million. Pretty sure that the hideous, dwarven, ham hocked Librano c*nt is getting a piece of that action.

        1. And what evidence do you have, other than the fact that you really, really, really don’t like Freeman?

      2. And she didn’t? Maybe no salary but she still received her millions. As did Marx Carnage in the laundering scheme.

        1. When you have solid evidence of that, do get back to us. I would be interested in knowing.

          1. If you are waiting for the bought and paid for Canadian “mainstream” media to report it, you obviously haven’t read 1984.

  1. It’s hard to imagine a PM with more contempt for the taxpayers than the Spawn but Carbon-Caliphate-Conman-Carney has made him into an amateur.

    1. John, I think SDA published Mark Carney’s leaked blind portfolio, one with shares in over 550 companies. The guy is uber-rich.

  2. I wonder how much Carney & Freeland got kicked back to them. In other words, I wonder what was their price to betray their fellow Canadians and give away $2.5 billion of their money?

Are they high class hookers or just cheap whores?
    Canadians, wake up!!

  3. In some future moment in Canada’s parliament, an opposition member will ask about this and the #Librano of the day will respond, “Mr. Speaker, the member in question is no longer a sitting parliamentarian, is the honorable member not in support of this government’s support of democracy?”

and it’ll be off to the next blathering nonsense of non responses, the $2.5 Billion, gone.

  4. Canadians that recognize the corruption of the political class still seem to think that it can be fixed by electing better politicians. I don’t think this is true.

The problem in Canada is the system of government itself. It is designed to make corruption easy. There are very few checks and balances on the power of the prime minister and the governing party. Between cabinet confidentially, national security, protecting trade secrets and the prime minister’s massive appointment power..there is no actual transparency or accountability required because everything can be hidden.

Even the Canadian Constitution does not protect citizen’s rights or the division of powers because it is worded in such a way to give politicians and courts the power to override pretty much everything. The exception is the notwithstanding clause, the very section the Carney Liberal government is now attempting to neuter through the supreme court.

Nothing will get better in Canada because the government system is flawed and rotten at its very foundation.

    1. A question I frequently ask my normie friends when politics comes up is “The Founding Fathers were fully aware of the Westminster parliamentary system and how it worked, and chose not to use it. Have you ever wondered why?”

      1. Yep. The American Founding Fathers recognized the flaws of the British system and designed one that was centered around individual rights and freedoms. I think the Canadian parliamentary system is actually worse than the Westminister parliamentary system mostly due to regional issues stemming from new provinces joining confederation and Quebec, of course.

There’s really no excuse for the fundamentally flawed constitution created by Pierre Trudeau. To me, it looks like it was designed to give the federal government all of the rights in practice while only theoretically giving rights to individuals and provinces. A facade of rights that can be removed by various other clauses in the constitution.

    2. How do you create the conditions under the Canadian system to ensure that the incentives are in place for even a bad politician do the right thing?

For the past 55+ years, the system has been attacking what was a high trust society, and turning it into low trust society, and there isn’t any clear path to rebuilding it back to a high trust society.

      1. I don’t think Canada can change. In fact, I think it’s clearly easier to create a new country with a new constitution and system of government than it is to enact any meaningful reforms in the Canadian Constitution and government structures.

The independence movement on the prairies is still focusing mainly on grievances and political unfairness. This will certainly motivate many independence voters. Less taxes and economic growth will motivate others. I think some will be motivated to vote for independence by imagining a country where citizens can create a better government structure, a superior constitution, court system, etc.

  5. I can’t comment because Killer Marmot will tell me to calm down because I’m angry and obviously inferior to them in everyway while the Purple Economic Wizard farts perfume.

    1. Be careful now, the Hall Monitor might have his Feels hurt, and point at his rules, regulations and offishul gubermint studies that confirm this doesn’t have to be studied anymore, since nothing is to be learned ever again.

  6. We need to send billions more to Ukraine. Last I heard there was one or more Russians still alive so we’re not done yet.

  7. In late December, Freeman was no longer a cabinet minister but simply a backbencher, and one that had announced her retirement from office. She would have had little leverage.

She might well have encouraged Carney to support Ukraine, but given that she reportedly will not get paid by Ukraine for her services, such support does not put money in her pocket.

    1. I am selling the deed to a bridge located in Brooklyn. That’s more believable than a politician claiming he, she or it didn’t gain financially from a shady deal.

      1. Just because you’re suspicious doesn’t make it true. Reality doesn’t answer to your political biases.

          1. My only claim is that there’s no evidence of wrong doing. Freeland is leaving office. She hasn’t begun working for Ukraine yet, and reportedly will receive no salary for it. There’s no ethical or legal breach here.

It’s up to her accusers to present evidence to the contrary, and all they’ve presented are unsubstantiated conspiracies.

          1. The best route to determining the truth is evidence. It’s ultimately the only route. If you have no evidence then you’re likely entertaining a fantasy based on your own wishful thinking and partisanship.

    2. I don’t know how I got Freeman from Freeland. Picked the wrong day to give up barbituates.

    3. On September 25th, she resigned from cabinet, and became the “Special Representative for the Reconstruction of Ukraine”, which would imply that she has some leverage in getting money for Ukraine, otherwise what’s the point of the position? She didn’t “quit” that position until after Zelensky selected her as his advisor. She should still be under investigation since she doesn’t seem to accept that Canadian law has a 2 year cooling down period for former cabinet minsters.

      1. I congratulate you for doing some research and bringing in extra facts. Most don’t do that, but instead just fire from the hip.

But under investigation for what? She hasn’t begun working for Ukraine yet, and she will reportedly be receiving no salary from them.

        1. It smells bad. It has the appearance of public corruption, even if we don’t yet have evidence that she was personally profiting. And she would know how this looks, having written a book on oligarchs when she was a ‘journalist’.

          1. Well that’s my point. It’s all suspicions by highly partisan people, but no evidence.

And in my book, it doesn’t even smell bad. Freeland is a massive supporter of Ukraine for sure, but so what?

          1. Whatever. When you’ve got evidence of wrong doing, do report it. Until then it’s all fantasy.

          1. Only a really sick rodent could come up with something so sick, perverted & twisted as the “picture of Freeland” post above.
I suggest that KM be given at least a month long time out to think about just how evil that post truly is!!!

          2. That dimpled effect on her thighs melds perfectly with the mid 70’s popcorn ceiling.

For the record, I’m not certain they’re for aerodynamics like a golfball, or for grip as on broom ball runners.

          3. Stewartpid

It’s the 2000s. We don’t judge people for their … curious … obsessions.

          4. Yes, I admit it, but it’s not mine. The monastery issues them to all us flagellants. Part of the punishment.

    4. When you have solid evidence of no money flowing back to her, do get back to us. I would be interested in knowing.

  8. Only slightly O/T but I would have loved to know what President Trump said to Supreme Leader Blackie McBlackface when they had their meeting in Washington a couple years ago. He came back to Canada and shortly afterwards both him and Freeland quit their jobs…coincidence? I think not

  9. “Freeland’s announcement came only hours after the committee chair expressed outrage over her conduct: “When did we become a country where laws, ethics and morality don’t matter anymore?””

    1968 give or take.
