The DOJ releases 30K more documents;
Some of these documents contain untrue and sensationalist claims made against President Trump that were submitted to the FBI right before the 2020 election. To be clear: the claims are unfounded and false, and if they had a shred of credibility, they certainly would have been weaponized against President Trump already.
Nevertheless, out of our commitment to the law and transparency, the DOJ is releasing these documents with the legally required protections for Epstein’s victims.
And this is why the consequences for making a false accusation should be identical to the crime being alleged.
I’m not going to venture into the fire hose today because I have work to do, but a good starting point would be Mario Nawfal, (although it looks like he’s already been stung by one “manipulated image”).

While I think it is a first for me to toss this into the ring, it certainly takes one back to a time long ago when certain moral clarities were commonplace and there was no need to remind anyone.

Whitney Webb was writing about Epstein, the associates he surrounds himself with (Wexner, Bronfman and Brunel) long b4 most here even mentioned his name. It is pretty clear from her investigative work that Epstein was a honeypot. And although she is probably a limited hangout, she was naming Randy Andy and others long before they became newsworthy.

I think (I hope) it is beginning to dawn on at least some people that the salacious goings on of the late and un-lamented Mr. Epstein were/are not the real core of that story.
Intel runs the world…along with money.
Which coincides with my belief that Epstein was sprung from jail and all the prison anomalies the fateful night were the result of payoffs and/or threats.
Now, some have suggested that Epstein didn’t commit suicide but was offed by some intel agency. Possible but killing an operative would make it more difficult to recruit others in the future, especially those with smarts.
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen the DOJ pre-empt a document dump with a “Btw…don’t look behind the curtain” proviso for a sitting President. But hey, “live long enough…”

Hmmmm…I get your point but reverting to the Leviticus community standards and practices isn’t without its hazards.
I’ll stick to the current libel/slander laws.
It’s pretty hard to rely on libel/slander laws in a he said-he said situation in which the accuser has plenty to gain and nothing to lose. When someone goes to police with a formal but maliciously false complaint that could cost the other party their freedom, the stakes should be higher.
If there were ever a time and place for … “loser pays” … it’s for all maliciously false accusations. Like when said woman “victim” cannot remember the time, place, or what witnesses were there at the time of her sexual assault.
And let me add the (now) 6-women who have recovered their memories (or something) and suddenly remembered that Russell Brand raped them, sodomized them, and orally raped them. Two more just popped up in the past few days. Yeah … something happened to them a decade or more ago … and they just remembered. No. I don’t believe a single one of them.
I’m pretty sure Libel/slander laws are part of civil litigation…being imprisoned for a false accusation usually falls on the criminal side of the legal ledger.
If you’re imprisoned based on a false statement given to the police by an individual and it’s later proven he made false statements/accusations or perjured himself he or she may be charged.
IF he/she is found guilty and the appropriate punishment is meted out in criminal court you can sue his or her sorry ass in civil court.
Obviously your time can never be given back to you the only way to be made whole is monetarily.
Yes I know it doesn’t always come up roses for some but it’s the only game in town.
