  1. 1. Dems and Liberals see immigration as the primary means of recruiting new supporters.

    2. Private equity firms buying up housing have a strong incentive to support and facilitate mass immigration, as it drives up the value of their housing.

  2. I am familiar with temporary foreign workers. The majority are fraudulent. I know a restaurant that likely had much more than 100 applications a year and employed nothing but Filipinos. The local Timmies is the same. Every young waitress in town applied at these places and none were ever hired. The employers were looking for reliable slave labour.

    1. List pay at $30 an hour, kick back to the owner half of that, once taxes and whatnot are dealt with, the worker gets near nothing.

  3. All of our governments have become so corrupt and/or incompetent that huge portions of our taxed money are simply being shoveled into the pockets of thieves who have learned how to scam.

No wonder none of our economic systems can get up to speed. There are hundreds – thousands – of scum hanging off the rear bumpers getting a free ride.

We simply aren’t shooting enough people these days.

  4. A colleague of mine once set up a shell company in Brampton, Ontario. He got $25,000 for the promise of sitting in an office. Went there once. The coffee was ok. He was Mexican. None of this stuff makes sense.

  5. As a human resources professional, I suggest you unpack your white privilege and numb your morals. A better thing to do is to get on the gravy train! These temporary foreign workers are an excellent source of cheap labor, at least until their employer paid life insurance vests. This only takes a few weeks. Then, the MAID option kicks in, the human organs are harvested and the insurance collected. Come on fellas, lighten up.

    1. Did you used to work in high-tech? You sound like some of the managers I’ve worked for in the past. They viewed employment as a supply and demand issue; there was a limited supply of jobs foreign workers could get but an unlimited supply of foreign workers. If you used up and burned out the workers you had, you could always get rid of them and get some new ones.

  6. In my area there has been an explosion of fast food franchises that are underwritten by a foreign entity, the new “owner” runs the franchise and the investors supply the labor (with taxpayer support). The business is initially busy but then the locals discover the quality isn’t there and go back to their old favorites. In Toronto last fall a chicken franchise closed a bunch of locations because the product being served was substandard and the food wasn’t coming from the proper supply chains, probably ‘back yard butchers’. This will happen over and over as the grift is too milk the business out of business and move on…..this is the Mumbai Mafia at work. It was also an episode of the Sopranos
