  1. A woman at my workplace had a very bright son who had been given a gold plated education at a private high school. The problem with that high school was that most of the students had enough money to afford some very high end drugs and that became a problem for the boy. He tried university for a year, but the drugs got the better of him. He tried to get involved in the family business, but that soon failed as he was caught stealing money from his co-workers to buy drugs. One day this woman came to work with a black eye, claiming that she had run into a door. None of us bought that explanation. Eventually her son wound up in rehab but hooked up with a drug dealer on a day trip outside the facility. The dose was fatal. Thankfully he did not take any more lives than his own.
