TMZ: Two people found dead in Rob Reiner’s Los Angeles home, matching the ages of Reiner and his wife.
There’s plenty of speculation, nobody knows anything.
Legendary Hollywood director-actor Rob Reiner and his wife were found dead inside the couple’s Brentwood home Sunday, TMZ reported.
Medical personnel with the Los Angeles Fire Department received a call at around 3:38 p.m. and responded to the 200 block of South Chadbourne Avenue for medical aid.
Fire officials told KTLA that arriving units found an approximately 78-year-old man and an approximately 68-year-old woman dead inside the home. Citing law enforcement sources, TMZ said the 78-year-old and his wife, 70-year-old Michele Reiner, suffered injuries consistent with a knife.
New reports state they were murdered by their son.

One should not laugh at your byline, right Kate? I seek your permission.
One less Democrat.
How do you figure? death hasn’t ever prevented anyone from voting democrat.
That’s a winner!
Not even lifelong Republicans!
My next door neighbor … a man in his early 80’s … in reasonably good health … sealed his garage and took a permanent nap after connecting his 1974 VW bug’s tailpipe into the passenger compartment. Dick believed he was his own God … and he … and only he … would decide when and how to die. So he did it. He killed himself. But not before leaving literally dozens of angry, bitter notes to his adult children who had evidently … disappointed him.
I believe this is something people who have god-complexes do. It’s the real dark side of MAID.
What the hell does deciding to commit suicide have to do with god-complexes or MAID.
Dick believed he was his own god … and he … and only he … would decide when and how to die.
I forgot to post that he was a hardcore extreme leftist WEALTHY retired school teacher who owned multiple rental houses here in the city where $12,000.00/mo. rentals are commonplace. A classic limousine liberal who openly mocked my Christianity and belief in a “sky daddy”. He was in control of his life … not god. Not some superstition. So HE and only HE would decide when to end it. He was a bitter, old, angry, and lonely leftist.
But alas … I guess Reiner’s son was running short of daddy’s money or something …
None of that spiel answers my question.
Surely MAID is a form of suicide, and god-complex a mental disorder potentially conducive to suicide? The connections seem clear, though it may be beneath Kenji’s dignity to say so himself.
My (former) best friend’s father killed himself the same way (we had drifted apart because he was also self destructing himself). We were both in 8th grade at the time. I had heard about it of course, but when he returned to school, he saw me in the hallway and asked me if I heard about his father. That is a memory that I will never forget, being only 13 at the time. Both parents were alcoholics. Incredibly sad. My niece’s backyard adjoins their backyard so I’m reminded of that dark time anytime I’m over there.
Who?
He also went by the name “Meathead”.

I’ll wait, but holy cow this early reporting is garbage. Apparently shame isn’t a thing.
Gateway Pundit claims they were killed by their son.

LA police won’t confirm who or what other than it’s a “death investigation” at this time. Mayor Bowser apparently jumped the gun in making the statement.
Karma.
(I do feel bad about his wife…I guess..)
One
This is tragic
Two
I hated his politics but did like the work he produced
Three
I do not celebrate his murder.
Some speculate he was on the payroll of the CIA/Deep State. I think Scott Adams was one of the speculators. I happen to agree 1000%.
Second that motion.
A terrible thing to have an addict in the family. Too much money too early? Can’t live up to Dad’s success? Bad luck?
I wonder how they will blame Trump for this.
Any way they choose.
How about; If Trump wasn’t blowing up drug smugglers and their boats this poor young drug addict would have been high instead of angry.
I blame Global Warming.
Condolences to their family and friends. He was a great director and made me laugh many times. What a terrible way to go.
“He was a great director and made me laugh many times.”
He was a great director, yes. I don’t understand why he was still such a bitter, hateful person after all that success.
I wonder if his name is all over the Epstein files.
Granted, it’s generally unbecoming to speak ill of the dead since they cannot defend themselves,
in some cases it’s apropos to recall grandpas answer when asked,
Q: “How many people did you kill in the war?”
A: “None, they were all commies.”
Moral indignation being reserved for humanity,
to speak ill of any and all commies, dead or alive, is to fight for humanity.
Q: What made Rob Reiner so angry his entire life?
A: Communism.
suffice to say, given my personal observations regarding illegal drugs, if IF its true sonny had a ‘problem’,my speculation is mommsy wumsy and daddykins refused to FUND of said sonny boyz EXPENSIVE habit. so, in a drug fueled rage he determined to
A. get the money via a will or
B ransack their home and find the ‘secret hiding place’
C pure blind rage.
