Rust Issues

@JarrydJaeger: A majority of BC Conservative MLAs have signed individual statements declaring they’ve lost confidence in John Rustad as leader.

… but they won’t reveal who.

Update! The BC Conservative board has passed a resolution removing John Rustad as party leader. The caucus has recommended Trevor Halford as interim leader and the board has accepted that recommendation.

  1. It seems as if large C Conservatives across the country are emulating their heroes, the cowardly Liberals.

  2. The formation, and growth of OneBC, can be given thanks to Rustad. Since the election, he has 180d back to being a Liberal.
Let’s face it, he’s surrounded by UnitedLiberals now, who still long for being NDPLite advocates. That’s how OneBC has come to be, with Rustad ousting the Real Conservatives.
Eby s on the ropes, but the Cons are infighting instead.
Past, ousted leaders of all stripes, have gone thru where Rustad is now. Time to read the room and walk away. But, there doesn’t appear to be any leader to follow, whatsoever.
    Just a bunch of NDPLites.

    1. It’s a story as old as time. Every time a conservative movement gains some steam some libtards come in and cause some infighting and “hardcore staunch conservatives” lap it up and blow up the party.

    2. “The formation, and growth of OneBC, can be given thanks to Rustad. ”

Absolutely. They have my vote next election.

        1. “case in point”

          Damn right it is.

Dallas Brodie states a simple fact about NO bodies being found at the site of the Kamloops residential school and Rustad FIRES her for it? For telling the truth? SCREW HIM. And the rest of your Liberal-Lite buddies too.

Here’s another “story as old as time”: one thing conservatives like is a conservative leader who holds actual conservative views. We got rid of the “Progressive” Conservative Party once already, and we will continue to do so every time PCs infiltrate another conservative party. Canada does not need two Liberal parties.

  3. Didn’t Neil Young tell us that “Rustad Never Sleeps”? Oh, probably not. And what would he know, anyway?
