Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

I didn’t see “tag soup” coming straight at me… my daughter had tag soup in the Athabasca AB area last fall in elk/whitetail bow season, I think the tags taste the same for these varietals.
That’s how you give cream of boiled water soup some body.
I’d have taken one of those nice fat does and been done with it.
I wasted 10 minutes of my life watching Quick Dick McDick’s excuses. I am trying to figure out what his deep message was.
Hunting is its own pleasure even if you don’t bag anything.
But then I never hunted from a blind, I much preferred wandering through the bush just for the sheer joy of ambling through the the great outdoors.
Well, bagging is its own pleasure, even if you don’t hunt anything. I don’t know why people don’t work at grocery stores for the recreation. Perhaps they do.
But yes, I used to enjoy hunting, even though I rarely bothered to take a shot. It’s just fun to be out in the woods and fields. In much the same way, I’d much rather caddy than golf. Golf is a bit of a drag, but golf courses are delightful.
In my younger years I’ve both caddied, once at the Canadian Open, and golfed.
I stunk at the latter.
Well … he DID get some farm equipment cleaned and serviced.
