  1. OK Carney.
You made me MOU (MOO) and sign on to your agenda….
    BUT…
    Check this out, eh?!
    Pew! Pew pew pew!!
We shoot, shovel and shut up and transfer au Quebec, par usual.
WEXIT…a dream dreamed by old guys in Stettler and Turner Valley, while certain mayors get elected by urban Alberia and Nenshi waits in the wings.
    Have a nice day.

  2. Well, dont hold your breath waiting for this in Ontario. blubber douggie knows that he doesn’t have to do anything that drastic to keep his loyal rural voter base.

    1. I don’t know, Jamie. Danielle Smith just stood up and said every damn thing I’ve been saying until I’m blue in the face since 1992. I felt like I was watching myself give a speech, except better.

Now that she’s said it out loud, #BlubberDouggie is going to have a pretty fun convention in January I bet. There will be more than one guy pointing at Danielle Smith and saying “Well?!!! What about you, Dougie? What ya got for me, eh?”

I can hardly wait to see weak-sauce #CarkMarney spin this. Sexist/bigot/homophobe isn’t going to be much of a response this time.

  3. get ready for civil unrest. The fascist boot kicking gestapo that are the RCMP, love a good power trip and won’t disregard instructions from Carney

      1. The RCMP should be dissolved as surely as the FBI. Traitors to their nations guiding documents. Traitors to the people of their country

      2. Well, they won’t be out there enforcing the law for much longer, but I’m sure their Dirty Tricks squad will still be present.

      3. The RCMP won’t be there much longer, we got an MOU!!, we’re gonna separate! There are three big lies, because any of that takes guts, and Canadians have no courage, in Alberta or anywhere else. Putrid useless sheep.

  4. “…ban all provincial/municipal entities, including police…”

Need to add contractors to the list, that would leave only the administrative RCMP at Division HQ. Make it an offence on summary conviction with a ruinous fine equivalent to seizing pensions.

    1. We have a saying down here that I occasionally see on bumper stickers.
“Welcome to Wyoming. Now go home.”

  5. L – Implications…e.i. The Jewish population in Canada, since Oct. 7, 2023, has been subject to mobs threatening them in public, on behalf of a designated terrorist group. The mobs are so violently threatening that police have advised or ordered Jewish people to flee the public space and surrender their rights to free speech and peaceful assembly. Their property has been subject to desecration, vandalism, and arson. The public attacks that have called for death to Israel and the United States, some have also called for death to Canada.

The jihadi attacks against Jews in Israel was labelled the Intifada decades ago. Now the mobs, in addition to the official genocidal threat of the River to the Sea in Israel. They now call for internationalizing the intifada, openly declaring their target is every Jews everywhere.

P.M. Mark Carney has stated publicly that “Muslim values are Canadian values!” Any question that the federal government would enforce the Hamas being a designated terrorist group under Canadian law. Which logically would include prosecution for flying their flag, having mobs actually terrorizing Jews in their places of worship, schools and residential neighbourhoods, in support of said terrorist group. It is as Shakespeare might opine as “more honoured in the breach than the observance. ”

Therefore, Premier Smith announcement, establishing provincial prosecution policy reinstating the ancient Natural Right to Life, including as a corollary the Right to defend the life of self and family in the event of a home invasion. While of general application in Alberta, the Jewish population across Canada, would have one jurisdiction in Canada, where their Right to Life exists in law and policy, namely Alberta.

One jurisdiction is Canada for all to have the protection Constitutional Rights establishes Alberta, the proverbial shining city on a hill. A place were the people reject the Liberal view of Canada, as the first post, nation-state. Where citizens reject having their Constitutional Rights turned in privileges by extremist elements in federal and provincial institutions.

Without the concept of Co-operative Federalism being a live one, independent provinces renegotiating their relationship within; it being done outside of Canada is the only choice for a self-governing people.

  6. Criminal law is federal. Alberta contracts to use federal police as local police. They work under Carney’s jackboots despite being funded by Alberta. There are federal prosecutors. There could be a lot more. Judges for more serious offenses are federally appointed.

  7. I wonder about jurisdiction. I notice she said “a motion”, not a law. This has the slimy feel of the pipeline MOU, all words. Shakespeare said something about sound and fury, signifying nothing. This all seems performative.

  8. F..kin Eh. If the Feds interfere, the independence referendum vote likely goes up from it. Caesar thinks he’s bought peace in the West with his nothing burger / Carbon capture poison pill – based MOU. In this, Caesar Carney will see an attack on sacred leftist dogma of stripping the serfs of their natural rights, a dogma of which he must support to hold the captured institutions and party faithful. As a former institutional and “legalized” counterfeiting boss, he can fool the Eloi into thinking he is somehow qualified and entitled to central plan the economy. In the cultural arena, he comes across more as a banana republic strongman dictator which is closer to reality.

  9. The RCMP are not just going to abandon their posts because Alberta gets a provincial police service. The Feds will still keep the RC’s in place in a lot of regions and will still utilize them in an effort to undermine provincial autonomy and to accomplish the Liberal’s fascist agenda.

    1. If you know anything about policing, you will know the urban police have little use for the RCMP. The RCMP ticket speeders. Real crime happens in cities. Municipal police forces are the ones with the skillset.

      1. I dunno, Larry. As much as I despise the Queen’s Horsemen, I’ve seen some fairly arrogant assholes in municipal forces & the Alberta Sheriff’s Dept, too.

  10. We have come to the fork in the road where a decision must be taken, do we follow America’s lead in accepting the Common Law principal of ‘Castile Doctrine’ and now espoused by Alberta or do we continue down the path chosen in Britain and adopted in the rest of Canada as what is exemplified in this article.

We can no longer pretend that we are a ‘civilized’ country anymore than the ‘civilized’ country that the Third Reich claimed to be. When freedoms are eliminated one by one, you cannot consider that you are living in a free civilized society.
