Where’s The Beef?

Dr. Sylvain Charlebois- Ottawa Wants to Keep Beef Prices High — Deliberately. Here’s How.

We recently received information from a reliable industry source about how the federal government is administering beef import permits. If accurate, it raises serious concerns about whether Ottawa is knowingly sustaining an outdated and opaque system that keeps beef prices unnecessarily high. At a time when many families are struggling with food costs, this is more than a bureaucratic issue—it directly affects affordability.

  1. Lots of East Asian Indians in Canada, eh? And they worship cows, not eat them like all us baaaaad white people, eh? So it’s only demographically natural that Canada obstruct the destruction of cattle for the dining pleasure of white devils. Eh?

  2. If they want to keep beef prices high, then they picked a hell of a time to release the mutant ticks to make us all allergic to beef. Does the right hand know what the left hand is doing?

  3. If Conservatives were to rise in Question Period to ask about the permitting of imports or expense of beef in Canada, the #Libranos response will almost entirely be, “Mr. Speaker, the honorable opposition doesn’t care about Canadian’s dinner table, nor the health of the food they consume… nor how the gov’t is enacting further legislation to secure the health of the nation”

and absolutely nothing of substance from the #Librano imbeciles in charge.

AB/Sask. will separate before the garbage gov’t of Canada changes their tune.

      1. Basic herd? Are you 100 years old?

Canada exports half its beef for better prices. Where is the cheap imported beef coming from?

  4. Which former Olympic snowboarder is in charge of the Beef and Veal Tariff Rate Quota Advisory Committee?

  5. Canada is the capital of cartels and corruption. But artificially raising the price of beef involves several agenda items. One is screwing over Canadian ranchers, another is pushing halal beef, while another is to raise the price of real meat over the chemical shit and insects in “Beyond Meat”.

They will price out the poor and force them onto the toxic shit.

  6. We don’t have a beef problem, we have a slaughter house problem. Canada is a beef exporter. A lot of our cows go to the US where they are processed and then reimported into Canada. If we did the work here we would not be having this problem.
