    1. Bismarck on whether he was scared of the British Army invading:
      “I will call the police.”

      Trump on the Canadian military:
“They have a military?…. ha! ha! ha! ha! ha!”

  1. Can someone help this Californian … whose born and bred dialect is “laid back, Dude-speak” … understand what her accent is? Is that Bosnian? Is that Montreal-Trans-French? What the hell is that accent? Doesn’t sound Western.

    1. It’s Quebecois English, after learning French first, English later on probably in elementary school as it’s much worse if they learn the civilized language of English in the high school years… It’s not even a bad accent in that there are some quebecois citizens who, if I don’t actually “try” to understand, I’m able to block more than half out and purposely respond in sufficiently messed up English that they won’t understand me either, whereby we simply cancel each other out like simple fractions multiplication.
It works well for both us that way.

      1. That’s hilarious.

We had an excellent priest in Cheyenne for several years who was a native of India. He started every Sunday mass with a joke, which was a great way to start the service. One Sunday he told us that he had been in contact with management at the Diocese who wanted to know how he was getting along in our community. He replied, “It’s going great. I don’t understand them, and they don’t understand me.”

  2. Worthless DEI POS hire. I’ll bet she couldn’t load a rifle and hit anything over 50 yards.

But an archetypal libscum military “leader”; if she ever shot the enemy she’d expose herself to hostile fire to apologize. What TF is this cretin doing as a general officer?

We never waste an opportunity to beclown ourselves and make ourselves a global laughingstock.

Thousands of D-Day Canadian military martyrs are asking “Why did I storm the beach and die for THAT?”

PS – “Semper Cry” was gold.

  3. I think her social justice thumb is too firmly on the scale, her job is to kill those who try to kill us.
Not apologize for people being people, even when our people are sometimes assholes.
After the autumn of 2026 referendum for Alberta’s separation from tier 2 Canada, we should never allow this mediocracy to infect our military.

    1. It appears as though her ONLY mission is to rid the world of impolite assholes? What a noble calling. Puhleeze. It puts a whole new face on “mission creep” …

  4. I’ve tried to be optimistic and offer positive reinforcement to my Canadian friends. But, I’m sorry, you guys are screwed. I just read this woman’s CV and all of her promotions are fast tracked DEI nonsense.

She was promoted to lieutenant-general in 2021 upon her appointment to the newly created position of Chief for Professional Conduct and Culture. Ok…but before that. And, I can’t believe I read this: “Carignan introduced sexual conduct training for all officer candidates and also reintroduced ballroom dance classes which had been discontinued in the 1990s.”

She went to Brig-General all the way up to Full General in less than eight years.

This lady treats the Canadian military like it is a junior high school physical education and health class.

  5. My brother was in the RCAF. He got his commission certificate the last year they were printed in English only. The Canadian military started stumbling at that time….it became weaker and weaker and you would hear Liberal idiots talking about “soft power”. Yeah, sure. At one time he was the CO of a recruiting centre and at a meeting in Ottawa with all the recruiting centre CO’s, they were told that while the entrance exams for various trades in the military would be the same for English and French, but the pass mark for the French would be lower than for the English. When asked why, the answer was “cultural differences….that’s all you need to know”.

He got out shortly after that.
