    • Although there is the freedom for students to attend school and school related functions in
    attire of their choice it is under the conditions that the choice:
    – Conforms with established health and safety requirements for the intended activity,
    – Is absent of text or graphics that:
    • promote any illegal substances—including those controlled for minors,
    • display offensive language or images,
    • encourage any form of discrimination; and
    • reinforce or increase marginalization or oppression of any group based on
    race, sex, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity,
    religion, cultural observance, household income, body type, and size.

    It would seem that the mom who was banned had an objection to a Pride shirt. I would assume this was based on religious grounds (or even personal beliefs is sufficient). And, the school’s own policy has banned any attire that “encourage any form of discrimination.” Therefore, the mom was banned in violation of their own attire policy.

    And, even if the School Board doesn’t see it that way…what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Send the kid to school wearing a MAGA shirt, and see what happens.

  2. L – My instinct is that there are enough parents to form something like the Charter Schools in Alberta. The Cult. Marxists that have infiltrated and seized control of the institutions are only vulnerable to parents, who love their children enough to do that or protest in a mass boycott of the current corruption. Time is running out, act fast or in B. C. , the parents will soon be subject to the ostrich treatment.

  3. Voters, whether parents or not, need to take school board trustee elections seriously. These whackjobs get on the board because too many vote via name recognition without knowing who it really is or simply choosing by “eenie meenie”.
    It’s not that hard anymore to research candidates. This woke 1984 style BS is the result of not taking it seriously enough to care.

    1. Yup….in the municipal election in Calgary, there was virtually ZERO attention in the media about school board trustees. People tend to look at the elections far away, for example, the election of Trump in the U.S. (which really is no business of Canadians), the federal election or the provincial elections.

      People should perhaps pay more attention to the elections CLOSEST to them.

      As for researching candidates, that is not as easy as you make it out to be because most of them have such vague pablum on their websites as to be worthless.

      1. Not really all that hard. Start with LinkedIn. Eliminate the ones that use pronouns whether “accurate” or not.
        Go to FakeBook. Are there any suspicious wall and profile photos? Any “Marxist style slogans” on the profile page?
        Then go to the party and the individual websites. Eliminate the land-acknowledgers.
        Then read between the lines of what their websites also say. Do they really need to be elected to accomplish what they want to do?
        In my experience, the cadidates I wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot pole end up winning. There are some exceptions but these have been rare.

        The Alberta Parents’ Union sent out a link in an email prior to the election listing school boards, their candidates and information from a survey APO sent out to each candidate. It wasn’t complete by any measure, but it did furnish some decent information.

        1. In the APU survey, many candidates did not even respond to the request for positions. I do not have children in the system, but my constituency was elected by acclimation, both boards. Sorry situation.

L – The proper response from a parent, who is banned from their child’s school is to pull their child out of that school; because, they are justified in thinking their child is clearly not safe there. In every province except Quebec, being with the parents are presumed in law to be the best and safest place. That parents have a Natural Right in law to their children.

      In Quebec, if the government wants to seize your child, the onus in law requires parents to prove in court, they can be trusted with their children. This Marxist view of children is one reason to recognize Quebec’s right to independence, as in current Cdn. Political history, anything that their ruling Marxist cabal believes, sooner or later, is coerced on the other provinces. Then sealed into Constitutional interpretation by the Cult. Marxist majority on the Supreme Court.

      When Viva Frei, the Quebec lawyer, wanted to move to the U.S.A. in order to have the Constitutional Right to free speech, to make his new vocation as a podcaster feasible. His wife, having an extended family in Quebec, was reluctant to give that up; that is until he explained that Quebec had a reverse onus law, parental privileges instead of the British Common-law parental Rights.

      America retains the foundations of Natural Rights in their Common-Law tradition. In Canada, that is being extinguished. “Oh, Oh Canada…”. Is how the National anthem should now begin.

  4. Just as ANTIFA are the REAL fascists … so too, the LGBTQueer-mutants are the REAL HATERS. You MAY NOT object to their Love … is … LOVE. Or they’ll DESTROY you.
