It’s just women. Their distribution of political beliefs is located more towards the Left, more authoritarian, than men’s distribution.
Men seem to have a greater spread in distribution. The very extremes of the political spectrum will generally be composed almost entirely of men.
I found this video interesting as hell. Peterson points out that the progressive mindset is horrendous at verbal intelligence. Think about how that connects to behavior. First, consider that the norm on the left is to avoid debate. They shut down discussion. In the case of something like Climate Change they go right to “the debate is over.” They create “safe spaces” specifically to avoid verbal debate. More often than not, when they are forced to debate they resort to dishonesty or creative semantics. They will spend their resources focusing on character assassination instead of the substance of an argument. Ad hominin attacks are their initial response to avoid substantive discussion.
THIS leads to a dilemma. They haven’t made their case. And, the instance of Charlie Kirk who forced them into a discussion requiring verbal intelligence, they are in a position of losing the argument. They need a way out. Enter authoritarianism. The substance of the argument is no longer and issue. YOU WILL DO THIS, OR ELSE. Censorship, violence, protests where discussion or opposition is forbidden, cancel culture, doxing …etc.
Great post. The video should be required for all on the right to listen, absorb, and understand. The left will ignore it, misunderstand it, or change the context before reporting it to YouTube claiming Peterson was comparing leftists to orangutangs…
