Given what Trump has just achieved, it makes the MSM and Capitol Hill Dems look like clown shows. They, particularly the Democrats’ increasingly bizarre Mamdani/AOC left-wing, have been busy running their party into the ground. Trump’s peacemaking allows them to finish the job by making the Democrats seem so kooky by comparison that even extinction now seems a possibility.

Sound excessive? I don’t think so. Listening to cable news tonight, I may have missed something, but I did not hear one Democrat congratulate President Trump on his achievement.

According to Grok, at this writing, even Sen. Chuck Schumer, the minority leader, a Jew, and supposedly a friend of Israel, has said not a word. Terrified of AOC? You bet.

What is wrong with these people? Well, plenty. They are so overwhelmed with hate, for Trump and evidently for each other, that they can’t see straight or think rationally.

  1. Excuse me if I remain unconvinced about peace in the middle east. Especially when Palestinians are involved.

      When I hear the talking point of “ceasefire” it tells me the one side that wants this conflict to persist wants Israel to stop beating their arses so they can rearm and regroup.
      Now on the positive side, the way this agreement is set up, is that when Hamas violates the “ceasefire” it gives Israel all the justification necessary to obliterate Hamas without reservation expeditiously and no opportunity will be offered for another ceasefire.

That’s funny … I watched the reprehensible Fox News clipped-haired Israel-hater Jennifer Griffen just mock Trump’s Peace deal by citing EVERY former Democrat President’s FAILED ME Peace plans; Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Barrack Hussein Obama … and shrugging this one off as just more ignorant American bluster and nonsense.

    She is long past her sell-by date.

      Every US President in the last 50 years had tried (and failed) to deal with the ‘Palestinian’ problem. Trump achieved it easily, by ignoring the ‘conventional wisdom’ of the politicians and treating it more as a business issue. After being told “you can’t do that!”, he just went ahead and did it anyway.

      Donald Trump will be remembered for many things (and rightfully so), but this particular issue might turn out to be the one that defines his ‘legacy’.

  3. Apparently John Fetterman has come out in support. Funny but based on his portrayal I couldn’t believe it when he was elected. And again and again he seems to be the only sane Democrat. I will amend that – 2 are working in the present administration – a fact that Demorats and mainstream administration refuse to acknowledge .

  4. Who but President Donald Trump could bring Jews and Muslims to the peace table and then.conclude his announced of an agreement in Phase One of the peace process by quoting Jesus Christ from the Sermon on the Mount, “Blessed are the peacemakers”.

      He’s let Israel know he won’t stop when Hamas violates this agreement
      He’s also let the neighbours know that he knows they don’t want the Palestinians living in their country and if they were honest they would admit they would be happy if Israel obliterated Hamas, Hezbolla and every other variant of Islamic extremism off the face of the earth.
      The Palestinians as well don’t want the Islamic facisists in their midst but like those too poor to leave a neighborhood rife with criminal extortionist, are helpless to do anything about it.
      Hamas is doing what they always do, buy time by saying they will agree to a ceasefire so they can regroup and rearm

  5. Most peace deals with Israel fail, given enough time, particularly when it involves Palestinians living in the immediate vicinity. I expect this one will flop as well.

  6. Two very significant differences between this agreement and those in the past:
    1. Trump has aligned all the significant players in the Middle East in support of it.
    2. It has been clearly communicated to Hamas that if they violate the agreement, Israel has carte blanche to exterminate them.

      1. Great point. In a perverse way Israel was able to be appropriately aggressive with their adversaries because Biden was so impotent.

    2. Trump was the first US president to come to terms with the fact that Hamas did not actually want peace with Israel…they wanted to completely destroy it. Killing Jews is what they live for.

      The solution was so obvious all along: isolate Hamas and do an end run around them. Cut off their support, funding and weaponry and they are finished as a fighting force.

    In hudna, an Islamic entity signs a treaty with prospect of it lasting a maximum of 10 years at which point the Islamic side of the treaty breaks it to continue the war to establish the worldwide Islamic caliphate. The treaty is only a breathing space to allow the Islamic entity the time and opportunity to re-arm for the ultimate goal, Dar al Islam.

    There is no middle ground with Islam.

    But many progressives having been screeching that (1) Trump is a fascist, and (2) Israel is a genocidal state slaughtering little children. If Trump is instrumental in bringing a halt to the Gazan war then those progressives are in a very awkward position.

      Agreed. This plan, though, gives Israel new political justification for exterminating the remaining Hamas members if they should choose to play any of their usual games. Hamas knows this.

      I think they will choose self-preservation this time since they can no longer count on the support that they used to have. No one will be coming to their defence this time.
