The Doctor Will Kill You Now

How Canada found creative solutions for the difficult problem of serial killers.

A severely obese woman in her 60s who sought euthanasia due to her “no longer having a will to live” and a widower whose request to have his life ended was mainly driven by emotional distress and grief over his dead spouse are the latest cases to draw concerns that some doctors are taking an overly broad interpretation of the law.

The anonymized cases highlighted in the latest report from the Ontario Coroner’s MAID Death Review Committee include people whose conditions were declared “grievous and irremediable” — incurable — and their deaths reasonably foreseeable because they refused all forms of care or had stopped eating and drinking.

  1. OK – two sides can play this game, right?

“include people whose conditions were declared “grievous and irremediable” — incurable — and their deaths reasonably foreseeable because they refused all forms of care”

Mark Carney refuses to think about what is good for Canada – His ideas are “grievous and irremediable” – he’s most obviously “incurable” – so his “death is reasonably foreseeable because he refuses all forms of” thought.

Seems like a man who needs to end his life to me and will do us all a favor if he were to.

Try grasping the difference between USE and ABUSE.
Butt word of advice, put yer fake bible down first!

      1. “Use” is use. “Abuse” is use of a sailor. And this isn’t a fake bible, it’s a deck of cards.

  2. If you want to end a miserable existence, you should be able to do so without judgement. Now we can argue about whether the state should pay for termination of life, but not whether one is deemed ” worthy” of such fate.

  3. To the left, people are nothing more than livestock. We’re just considered a commodity to be manipulated and culled as deemed necessary. The sad part is that way too many Kanadians have bought into this. Thank Robert Latimore for getting this started.

  4. Wettlaffer was just ahead of the curve, and should be released, given a pardon, and $10 million for the government violating her rights.

/not really, no one who advocates for MAID should be allowed anywhere near the process for MAID approval, as most of them appear to be gleeful over killing people, and don’t seem to have any understanding as to why it’s wrong.
