  1. Shrug. And the NP carries another story suggesting that Smith is happy with her latest meeting with bobblehead.

Never forget this: Postmedia took Joostaihn’s handouts just as eagerly as torstar.

      1. Bell Media got more than $5million, CBC got $6 million, Postmedia $4 million, Rogers $2.1 Million

Every one of them should be forced to disclose this at the start of every broadcast and at the top of every paper.

  2. Bait and Switch. That will be Carney’s legacy.

I fully expect Carney to highlight a bunch of new projects beneficial to Alberta as the referendum election approaches, and then immediately tie them up with this type of regulatory language immediately following the vote.

    Any takers on that?

    1. I will agree that he is a fraudulent liar and yes, as a central banker/WEF communist boot licking ideologue, he will do nothing of what he promises – not one single thing.

    2. There is no pipeline because no company wants to get involved with yet another TransMountain fiasco, where they don’t get the long term benefit of the 10 years it takes to get the project started.

  3. Premier Smith was trying to pass a regulation forbidding federal inspectors from going on Alberta energy sites.
Now Premier Smith says she has a $ multi-million deal for carbon capture and thats a good thing.

I say this whole charade about CO2 needs to end.
This “carbon capture” is unnecessary and a step toward shutting down the Alberta energy industry.

  4. It was obvious from the get go all the talk about national projects was farce.
The government has had the power to push through any project it wants even if the Supreme Court says otherwise.
    It’s called the Notwithstanding clause.
If Carney was bargaining in good faith all he had to say was that he would invoke it if anyone objected to a project.
But that would require good faith and the balls to use it.

    1. Was not Joseph! The Shit for Quebec will definitely get done! DEFINITELY! And IMMEDIATELY!
The rest well, we still have to pacify the
F’N Indigentindians. That may take a while!
