        I watched many clips of Charlie working the crowd. He had an uncanny memory and seemed to know a lot about a lot of things.

        I cannot see anything good coming from this … the shooter makes the entire left look like the savages that they are.

        However, I just saw a close-up clip of Charlie getting hit (on Nextdoor) … hit in the neck with a massive rooster tail of blood. He dropped dead … right there.

        This is horrendous … whatever the motivation.

        Does that imply or equal specific intent? No. We will have to wait and see.

And then a quick follow up question intended (in my estimation) to compare and contrast the very FEW number of transgender shootings there have been … in the context of how many gang shootings or non-transgender mass shootings?

        In my estimation … this was a planned and coordinated execution … intended to add just one more “non-transgender” shooting. I believe a conspiracy is/was afoot to set-up this dramatic execution. No … this isn’t just ME … imposing my anti-LGBTQueer-mutant societal concern. No, this has all the stench and tracks of a deliberate, targeted, and coordinated execution.

    I am actually surprised at how much this upsets me. I’m not normally quite this emotionally upset.

    1. This PRAGAMATIC libertarian has been thinking about this for quite some time: the need for extreme restrictions on AI images purporting to be real. At the bery least a clear sizeable disclosure notice that it’s AI. Now, think of the asshole that would whip up an AI image of fatally shot Charlie Kirk. RIP.

      1. My comment grates against my laissez-faire libertarian leanings as well. But when no images can be trusted … something’s gotta give. I think of asswipe HS boys who create FAKE AI nude images of HS girls to humiliate or blackmail them. That’s a pretty easy example of needed regulations.

I just heard an eyewitness … who had just asked and debated a question about religion with Charlie … who disagrees with ALL of these corrections … except he clearly said the man in custody was NOT the shooter … but may have “confessed” he was, as in … he wanted to shoot Charlie because of his anti-trans opinions. He said the shooter was positioned further away from Charlie on a balcony/rooftop … and that he said he saw … from 20yd away … massive blood coming from Charlie … and it looked GRIM.

    1. That same eyewitness opined that this shooting had the FEEL and appearance of a coordinated conspiracy. The man taken into custody was yelling “shoot him” right after the question about transgender hate was asked. The man said it felt all too coordinated and conspiratorial in the timing.

      And I listen carefully to what people say and how they say it … everything. Everything … this eyewitness said sounded correct, and has proven accurate. And I believe he was actually challenging Charlie on a point about his faith.

    That said, this world is deeply sad and sick, and world weariness creeps in, despite wan hope.
    As Kenji noted, for some unknown reason, this news about Charlie is affecting me more than normally, and I barely have followed the young dude.

    1. I am deeply saddened by Kirk’s murder.
      Also, deeply saddened by the brutal murder of that poor young girl on the train who was a legitimate Ukrainia refugee.
      AND saddened by the scant attention to her murder by MSM especially considering the wall to wall coverage and canonization of Saint George of Floyd.
      And of course the totally innocent cop sent to prison whose live has been ruined.

    2. Honestly, the last time I felt this way was in 1968 … when I was in 6th grade and Bobby Kennedy was assassinated. It was shocking and brutal … and he was promising to deliver a NEW way of politics … focused on the young.

      And there’s something particularly upsetting about seeing a completely innocent girl just making her way home from work … suddenly, from behind, without any warning or opportunity to defend herself is brutally, violently, STABBED in the neck and bled out … quickly. Particularly random and senseless … unless you believe he WANTED to target a white girl.

  21. This is heavy. I wasn’t some dedicated follower, but I have watched some of his videos and admired him a lot. An intelligent young man who debated sharply and spoke truth but treated his opponents with respect and decency.

    Very sad for his wife and children.

  22. On election night 2024 I watched as people who were helped by Charlie Kirk to organize tracked voters and votes in the key battleground states. The prevention of the election malfeasance that took place in 2020 was key to Trump’s victory. I find difficult to believe this is crazy lone shooter. We will need to wait and see. There is video in the link as to what he was addressing just before he was shot. God help us all.

  28. I am truly and profoundly shocked and saddened by the heartless, callous, barbaric murder of a brave, intelligent young man who now leaves behind a widow to raise two beautiful children by herself. Shocked…but not surprised.
    Why was he murdered? For the simple “crime” of standing against the hate filled, vile rhetoric of a perverse science and he was effective and energetic in doing so. Those that preach tolerance, “love”, understanding, their version of generosity (with other people’s money) are often the most selfish and despicable people when someone dares to question their failed and sick ideology.
    I pray for Charlie’s family. To all who are close to him. To all who appreciated his strength and bravery. Most of all, I pray for a society that has seen fit to silence a voice that simply brought truth.
    We have also witnessed an innocent young woman having her life taken away by a violent cretin. The silence of the “tolerant” is deafening. We were subject to endless admonitions from our “betters” and rioting when a worthless, criminal, crackhead had a heart attack while resisting yet another arrest.
    For some reason, I am drawn to the date of October 16th, 1859 and a small town in Virginia called Harper’s Ferry. The vile left may have bitten off more than they can chew.
