  1. I have read that when the RCMP are sworn in as officers of the law, they swear allegiance to the RCMP, that is they swear allegiance to themselves, not the gov’t, not Canada, not the provinces they are contracted to work for, and certainly not citizens.

    Keep in mind that whatever number of RCMP are contracted to work as the provincial police in Alberta, they are in breach of that contract as they are not supplying the required number of police.
    I don’t think it matters at all that they “don’t have the capacity” or if, “they are trying” to supply those numbers.
    Also, the number of RCMP officers who have taken leave for stress, or work related injuries, I doubt that comes into play as well. There is a great number of them with undetermined return dates who are not policing, I think they should be replaced in the interim, the contract says X number of RCMP, not send X number to do policing, and hope that 12% don’t phone in sick.

    That last little bit of Premier Smith’s statement above, says it directly.
    If I contract to supply you as a homeowner for a service, and then say “I can’t supply” a product as the distributor of said goods doesn’t have it, I can’t bill you for it and say, “I tried”.

    You’d think the police would know this.
    If you’re fined for some infraction and say to the judge “you tried” to pay the fine?

    Now I am sure to be flagged next time I travel to Canada. Hopefully the West has EXITED by the time I travel to Stevie’s neck of the woods again.

  5. Alberta also needs to be planning on how to replace the CAF. A volunteer militia would be a good first step.

    1. Not real sure Alberta would need a military…..an independent Alberta could simply allow the U.S. to set up air bases in the province in exchange for military protection. Although a volunteer militia wouldn’t hurt too.

  6. I’ll say again: police are not your friends. Even an Alberta force would remain state enforcers.

      1. let me continue that thought, . . . to do their gnikcuf job and refrain from making it personal or a means to vent their frustrations.
        Youtube is rife with videos of cops beating the daylights out of the aged, disabled, blind, autistic, blacks, deaf for ‘not listening’. do your own search. 100s millions in successful lawsuits, on that count lm right, you’re wrong , so go find a boot to lick.

  7. L – Suppose for the sake of argument, Alberta and Saskatchewan had a provincial police force of whatever numbers. That due to hiring criteria of merit, a higher percentage would be…well men. This because 90% of the criminals are men. So, the police should be matched up physically and psychologically to the…shall, we say “opposing team. I predict the percentage on maternity leave would decrease, as would the number and length of off on medical leave. In other words, “May The Force Be With You!” Would have more force, behind it !!!

    An Auxillary Police Force, from the best of the general population could be trained and called up, as needed. This could be e.i. 50,000-100,000, the problem of no one nearby able to respond quickly in an emergency is solved. The likelihood hood of getting caught in the act or having hot pursuit would deter many crimes and criminal careers. Not to mention breaking into the home or business/farm of an auxillary officer would be a significant risk. Sir Robert Peel’s 9 Rules of Policing would be re-introduced, too.

    If the numbers, seem high and expensive, not really. An independent Alberta/Saskatchewan would require a citizen soldier based Armed Force to retain our NORAD membership. That would be financed, by part of the monies sent now to fund,the Liberal(globalist), federal government, which act so often more like pirates than government of the people, for the people and by the people.

    Additionally, with a natural resource economy double what it is now, under the jackboot of Liberal/NDP/C.C.P. Axis. We could have the peace, prosperity and *freedom of the post WW2 decades. A trust society, governed by our traditional values, has a quality of life now only found in most of the old black and white movies.

    *(Freedom under moral law- Rights with concomitant Responsibilities – being the is the story of Exodus, that inspired Western Civilization, including the men and women that carved Canada out of the wilderness. It can conquer the current political jungle, too. The shinning city on the hill or the abyss of perfidy that is Ottawa? Aim high and remember, missing the target is the metaphor for sin. Choose freedom, the harder road has a better destination than the current one paved with the best of intentions(suicidal empathy).

    1. Well, Alberta already pays the entire cost of the RCMP because the federal “portion” is comprised of our own money anyway.

All military, every Judge, every Senator, every MP and MPP, every cop, and of course the Head of State the Governor General and the PM and every Premier, swear an oath of allegiance and loyalty to the KING OF CANADA, the eminently retarded King Charles. The Government of Canada, all its money and possessions, and all its organs, are the private property of the King. All law in Canada is beneath and subservient to the King. You are all Subjects of the King. You are not citizens with inalienable Rights. They do not teach this in the British Commonwealth.

      Or more succinctly, when will they stop sleeping with the enemy?
      This is a serious security threat to the U.S. of A. , Neither that, nor having Canada go from a failing state to becoming a failed state. In a time of urgent control of access to the Northwest Passage, Arctic sovereignty and a trusted southern border are not negotiable.
