2025 Website Security Fundraiser

The business model of SDA has always been “this blog runs on the volunteer effort of people who enjoy yelling at radios, but your donations are appreciated”.

That said, there are costs involved, and the most significant is the annual renewal of the security plan license.

If you’ve recently donated or contribute monthly, please ignore this – you’ve done your part.

However, if it’s been a while, we’d appreciate a bit of jingle in the tip jar to cover that expense. Any funds raised over and above that cost will be shared with the guest bloggers. Etransfer is the preferred method, but there’s a link to the Pirates of Paypal on the sidebar as well.

A huge thanks to all you glorious misfits who help make Small Dead Animals the deplorable thorn in the side of left-thinking Canadians everywhere. It’s with your help that we make the magic happen.

(Security Item Addendum: If you’ve signed up as a subscriber in order to comment, only to find your account deleted, it’s because your signup or email info are consistent with spam account activity. I suppose it’s possible that you’re a retired grain farmer from Perdue using biplie354@anon.store.ru as your email, but you’re getting nuked all the same. If I did happen to delete your account in error, send me an email).

  1. Coins have been flung to the west…

(There is far too much money moving in the opposite direction in this Dominion!)

    1. Excuse my ignorance but how is that done. I tried to do a credit card payment after hitting the donate button and it wouldn’t compute.

      1. Under the Pay & Transfer tab on your banking page, at least on mine.
Look for Etransfers – Kate has the e-mail info on the right side margin of this website.

        1. Email info is one thing, Kate’s actual bank account number is another. I can’t send money from my bank account to an email address.

          1. I live in Europe; things are different here.

Having said that, I’ll try again tomorrow.

  2. I just realized that my last donation was made in Can. $. I. am. so. sorry. I meant to pay you in my BEEG American dollars … so I am sending you another 25% to make up the difference (the PayPal exchange rate).

    1. More USD converted to CAN coming from SoCal. All the best Kate… keep up the great work.

      1. There are many of us here. You post a lot, I’m here 3 or 4 times a day… mostly lurking. When fund raising time, I’m here with money to help my friends east of the Rockies and west of the rest.

    1. We have commercial security software running on the site (a plan that includes live tech support), for which there’s an annual license fee.

  3. I am old fashion and paranoid about electronic transfers. I would like to send a cheque via snail mail. Is that an option?
